> 3 dayWithout the looser fit the thicker hiking socks would not fit. They fit perfectly for my needs hiking in the east Tennessee mountains.

> 3 dayVery happy with these boots. Have been winter hiking and have been pleased with the support and traction on snow and icy terrain. The real test for comfort was this past weekend when I wore these for 3 hours of strenuous snow shoeing. My feet were as comfortable at the end as they were when I started. I like that, despite their sturdiness, the boots are light.

> 3 dayThese shoes were recommended by an employee at Chuck Boots. I normally wear a 6 but purchased a 6.5. They continue to be comfortable after wearing 8 hours.

Greater than one weekI needed a solid boot for walking and light hiking - excellent fit - per size - and well made. Didnt cut into the back of my ankle as my other boots did. Nice toe box - makes my feet feel indestructible.

> 3 dayFall instantly..if theres snow& ice, no tread once so ever. Wont buy again for that reason. Not practical for me in north dakota. Unless I change out shoes constantly which is fine for the pair I have until I get a different pair of shoes that I dont fall instantly in the winter

> 3 dayI havent worn them all day yet, but Ive worn them several hours at a time, and theyre very comfortable. I got them well in advance of a planned trip to Scotland so Id have ample time to wear them in. I dont think theyre going to give me any trouble at all. Im glad theyre a little roomy, as I can wear different weight socks, depending on the temperature. They can be tied tight enough that my foot doesnt slip, as I was afraid it would, as I have a fairly narrow heel and often have that problem with shoes. Im very well pleased with these boots!

> 3 dayThese boots are fabulous! I ordered them just prior to going on a trip out west, thinking I would need them while exploring some of the national parks. I am physically disabled with a very bad right leg. Stability is a must for me. Well, the boots arrived a day prior to my departure and found a home in my suitcase. Once out west I put these boots on, fully expecting to have sore feet, blisters, the whole bit. Wrong! My feet felt wonderful, no blisters, and the boots felt like a comfy old pair of slippers! More important - these boots made my feet stick like glue to the rocks I longed to climb, and I was able to manage SO much better than normal with these boots on! I could walk to the rim of the Grand Canyon, scramble on rocks to take photos in Zion, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks...my trip would have been SO much more limited without these boots! My orthodic insoles fit into the boots perfectly, and Im SO glad I ordered a half size up, per Keens suggestion (as the boots run slightly small). Anyway, I almost never take the time to write a review, but this product deserves the praise!

Greater than one weekThis is my second pair of Taghee II mid waterproof hiking boots. When they arrived they felt much bigger than my old pair, but I wore them around the house and kept tightening the laces, and now they feel right. The first pair lasted 3 years with nearly daily wear, as a work shoe. They still look and feel pretty good. Im hoping this pair will last as long and be as comfortable!
