> 3 dayThis boot runs large. I purchased these boots in a 7 because my current pair (pictured on Left--about 3 years old) were a size 7. I am usually anywhere between a 6.5-7. My current pair are a 7 and they fit perfectly. This pair is clearly at least a half size larger, this can be seen in the attached picture when I put them up next to each other. I will be returning and ordering a size 6.5. Other than that this boot is amazing and I love my current pair. Which is why Ill be purchasing the same pair again. Just know they run large.

> 3 dayI love Keen shoes. Always comfortable, always a great fit. I wouldn’t buy any other brand for my long dog walks in all winds, weathers and terrains.

Greater than one weekOrdered my standard size, 7.5, and they felt much too tight. By that I mean that the top of my big toe felt like it was hitting the top of the boot when I walked. Not wanting to get a blister under my toe nail, I returned the boot and replaced it with a size 8. In hindsight this wasnt a good decision as the boot stretched out quite a bit, such that my foot slipped around so much I got a blister. Bottom line is the length of the shoe was probably fine but the width was too loose in the bigger size when the shoe loosened up.

> 3 dayI have purchased eight pairs of various Keen shoes in my lifetime. Why? Because regardless of style, each Keen shoe offers excellent support, accurate fit, and craftsmanship. They last long----for many years. Imagine my incredible disappointment with the Keen Targhee II. I wanted a hiking shoe that will hold up to weekend walks in the local woods. Nothing too demanding, and always on trails. The first time I wore them, I noticed that arch support was minimum. So I purchased socks with some padding on the bottom. The second hike left my feet somewhat uncomfortable. But I thought this might be a breaking in period. Today was my third hike that lasted 5.5 miles, and my left foot is throbbing along the bone that is just below the large toe and under the pad of the foot. Im truly stunned as Keen has never let me down with previous purchases. I even bought a pair of Keen hiking boots for a 16 year old to introduce him to the Keen brand. Of course, now that Ive worn them, I cant return them for something else. Im hoping this isnt a sign that the Keen brand is settling for cheaper craftsmanship and materials.
