Love the boots

Just like my photo’s show. It sealed not very well. I didn’t wear them yet. Others I don’t know yet.

I ordered the Keen Targhee II boots in preparation for an upcoming trek. I have a high instep and have difficulty finding boots that fit properly. These boots felt great going on, the toe box was nice and roomy and the ankles are very padded. Based on other reviews I ordered 1/2 size up from my everyday shoe size and this worked great with a mid-weight hiking/sport sock. The only problem I had with the boot was that it only has one ankle lace grip. In order to get the lace tight enough around the ankle, it also made it tighter across the instep and this became a little uncomfortable for me when wearing the boots for several hours. I also ordered a Teva Riva Mid boot (with 2 ankle grips) and they were the boots I ended up keeping. The Targhee came in a close 2nd, but I ended up returning them. If you have a wider foot and instep isnt an issue, then Id say these would be the perfect boot.

The Targee II mid fits great. It has the classic Keen last. That wide toe box is what my wife loves about Keens.

I finally broke down to buy new Keens, my old ones I had just over 10yrs. Loved those ones too, but finally wore out. Theyre my favourite hiking boots to buy, never had a blister & super comfy with my wide feet. I totally recommend Keen boots!
