> 3 dayWas looking for a compact PC with 6 core i7 CPU, this seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately CPU pegged as soon as I tried to stream. Not sure if it is because of the low base clock speed, or something else. Ultimately had to return.

> 3 dayIt took quite a while for me to figure out all the hoops I had to jump through to get a Pop OS live USB stick to boot with the NUC 10. It definitely will not work for Linux live USB sticks out of the box. I guess it is fair enough, since they mainly advertise support for Windows. But due to the poorly designed UI in the BIOS setup, it was a pain the get the settings all just right to allow the Linux Pop OS USB stick to boot. I simply could not get it to boot at all in UEFI mode, even thought the USB stick was set up with a GPT and UEFI boot. I tried Linux Mint as well - no dice. There was nothing wrong with my USB drives - they booted fine in other computers.

> 3 dayAmazon was good about a full refund after the first one broke a few weeks after the return window had expired. What broke was the bios... it became unable to boot. I couldn’t even get to the bios menu of F2.

> 3 dayThe full-sized SD card slot is non-functionally intermittent. I would have rather they stayed with the microSD slot.

> 3 dayThis was a barebones kit. I got my own RAM and SSD, everything went together fine and the NUC even took Linux without a headache. Just make sure that you update your BIOS before trying to install ANYTHING, even Windows. I had the memory, storage, and OS installed in less than 45 minutes and have had zero issues with anything.

> 3 dayIts a small and quiet Windows machine. It has 32gb memory and 1tb ssd and connects to 3 27 monitors. My main computer for development. The one on the right is an Intel NUC 8 running Linux.

> 3 dayI called both companies tech support about the hard drive light staying on constantly. The system loaded fine and ran fine but the hard drive light stays on...constantly. Crucials response was the system loaded fine with no errors after running their drive check software so it must be the others hardware. I switched out the Crucial drive with a Samsung and the light works correctly, which I told Crucial this when I called them but that didnt seem to make much of a difference to them. I tried the same Crucial drive/s in a NUC8i3BEH1 with the same result. So even though Intel didnt have a fix, it isnt their fault really, I will continue to buy them though I was a little disappointed with the support but these are trying times. The NUC10i7FNH1 is very very fast. Oh and I had updated the BIOS on both NUCs but still no happy ending.
