Intel Core i7-8700K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.7GHz Turbo Unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W

When I bought this CPU I was upgrading from an FX-8350 so the immediate difference was noticeable. Even without overloclocking this CPU along with an RX-480 has handled everything at very high-Ultra settings that Ive thrown at it, in case anyone is wondering what games these are, the following are games that the above combo play at 60fps constant with no stutters:

Lots of new Ryzen chips out there that are amazing and offer great bang for the buck. But if you are just upgrading an 1151 socket then this gets you pretty close to the best performance from the newer i7s for cheaper. Still going strong in 2019.

もちろん問題なく動作してます。LGA1151対応なので、マザーボードも買い替え。それに合わせてメモリーも買い替えて、えらい買い物になりました。しかし、今までになく快適なPC環境になってます。

I choose this processor to finally update my old 4770K (@4.3Ghz) living room gaming pc. For 1080p@60Hz gaming with a GTX1060 of course there is almost no difference in game performance, but I plan on keeping this one for a while.

Amazing CPU, very fast and worth every penny.

WILL STOP WORKING AFTER 2 WEEKS OF USE. Spent the money to get a top of the line chip, which also came with having to purchase a special motherboard. Small return window. Had to buy another whole computer to try and trouble shoot it because you cant take it anywhere because no one has the hardware to test these products because of their special socket. By the time I built the computer, played it for 2 WEEKS, it dying, having to buy another computer so I could test the hardware and then finally diagnosing it as the CPU Im over a month out of the return policy. NOT HAPPY. SPENT OVER 3000 ON MY COMPUTER AND THIS POS BRICKED IN IT 2 WEEKS. Im assuming it overheated? Was only overclocked using the MSI boost mode. Have an oversized air cooler (Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro ) and Im MAD.

Really fast. Not much else to say. 6 cores, 12 threads. Works great.
