This is an absolute beast for the price, the OC potential is heavily reliant on having good supporting components (cooler, airflow+case, psu). Even at stock its a hell of a performer, good to see Intel over builds these. Silicone lottery is still very much present, purchased two with one easily oc-ing at 5.0 @ 1.38mv while the other needs 1.39 to consistently hit 4.8. Make sure to pray to the silicone gods.

Absolute Monster. I cant say enough good things about this. MASSIVE upgrade from my AMD FX8350. If anyone is on the same or similar processor, and youre curious about if its worth it, trust me, it is. I see just monster numbers, monster frame rates, and amazing temps. I have my 8700k @ 4.7Ghz Synced across all cores cooled with the GTX H100i, and I see ~30C on Idle, ~70-75C on full load. I have not de-lid the thing just yet, but I plan on it in the future.

El rendimiento es increible, para jugar no hace cuello de botella con ninguna GPU del mercado. El disipador de stock no es muy recomendable, pues ha llegado a alcanzar 90°C en verano con el disipador de stock. Con un disipador de aire diferente no suele pasar de 75°C y nunca ha llegado a 80°C en verano. Si tienes refirgeración liquida no vas a tener problema, aunque por aire tampoco alcanza temperaturas peligrosas.

What do they mean by Comfort rating on a processor? Like how comfortable I am that its not going to fry or what lol. Overall happy with the chip. Running at 5ghz 1.3v stable for gaming.

Bought this 5-6 years ago and it still runs great. Just as powerful as current generations.

allora ragazzi, a un certo punto mi sono chiesto del perchè esiste questo processore che probabilmente non acquisteranno in molti. E un processore castrato, parte da un frequenza un pò bassina e diciamo che si stagna sui 3.7/3.9. Ok non è OC, non serve per quello, è cmq un 6 core, ma cavolo il modello K costa pochi euro in più e quindi non capisco lesistenza di questa cpu, per non contare che ryzen continua a sfornare apu a distanza di un anno dalluscita dei primi processori, per il suo costo non vale la pena. Anche chi non fa OC per pochi euro si orienta sul modello K sia per la frequenza e sia perchè un domani ha la possibilità di spremerlo fino in fondo. Questo liscio a questo prezzo e con ryzen in circolazione costa non vale la candela. La stella in meno solo per questo, alla fine è un ottimo prodotto se non costasse così tanto e sembra abbiano risolto il problema per il quale si doveva deliddare il 7700k.
