This was part of an upgrade. I was moving from a Skylake i7 6700k. The performance kick was worth the cost. There are some games / Apps that are not optimized to well for a multicore processor. I have had issues with Fallout 3 freezing. It ran fine on the previous configuration running Windows 7. Had issues with getting it to run on the new configuration with Windows 10. The main reason for the Upgrade was to bring this Desktop up to what I have in the ASUS RoG Strix Laptop I got at Christmas. I also Bought an ASUS RoG Strix Motherboard for the upgrade.

Buyers make sure to now your mobo need to be 300 series and nothing else
