> 3 dayYoure not really wanting to spend over $300, $400, or more on a smartphone but want something that will last you decent amount of time before upgrading again. This is it. This phone takes a lot of aesthetic/cosmetic features from others, giving you a reasonably priced phone that doesnt feel antiquated at all. Ive been using this phone for over a week and it has been a phenomenal experience. I did a fair amount of research prior to buying due to being located in the United States. Will this phone be compatible in the US? yes as long as it is the JSN-l23 model, so as soon as it arrives ensure you received this model if in the U.S. Data speed its great! But not amazing. Im willing to make that compromise, especially with a phone this well designed. Battery life is excellent, lasting me a full day with enough to spare for day of light use.(I am a heavy user) The camera is great, take advantage of the pro manual control option which lets you really show what this camera can do!. Since Amazon only allows 5 stars, if I could rate this out of ten Id give it a 9/10. The only flaw being that the reception is not optimized for use in the US but works well still, though I understand things are not well between the U.S. and Huawei.

> 3 dayTmobile USA, Phone is great, screen is huge, Google Account is restoring apps. Got a little hungup about the Huawei Account not available in USA but its just bloatware similar to Samsung Account and not necessary. Screen is bigger than my Note 4 and everything is working great, testing battery life to see how long it lasts. Make sure to order a good screen protector and case.

Greater than one weekSince this phone has limited frequencies (bands) available for each model, it is important to recieve the correct model, however my model was not the listed on the description, luckily my phone works . the phone itself it is a great phone for the price, it makes the job done.

> 3 dayI just recurved the phone. The box is stained as scratch. The main menu when the phone boots, is in Spanish. The packaging doesnt look original. Update ... After further investigation, it seems thats just how they package the phone. The phone feels to be off great quality and fast in performance. Battery send to charge at good all micro USB speeds Im going to continue testing the phone. So far, its working great with T-Mobile in LA County. From what I investigate, it has all of the main Bands used my T-MOBILE, with the exception of Band 71 (600MHz) which is only critical in rural areas, it seems, and not in big cities. Phone did a regular update, to Pie 9.0, which is the latest Android version. I dont give it 5 star, cause of the micro USB charger

> 3 dayGood phone, enough GB of memory, thank you. CANNOT send MMS like I used to with iPhone... thats a problem Colour resolution isstrangely incomplete but I dont care so much. Intrusion into private life features I hate: fingerprint and face recognition is a bad thing. Dont put that one phones Chinese workers need better working conditions every day Thank u

> 3 dayI have the honor 6x and I loved it. I was waiting for the 8x to be released for USA but ultimately its not going to happen. After days of searching I found the jsn-l23. Im on straight talk at&t. In my area At&t LTE bands 2,4,12 are used. This phone support 2 & 4 on LTE. Im getting good coverage & speed. 10-75 mbs average any where I go. Occasionally in areas known to be weak I will drop to hspa (3g). Even still Im getting 2-10mbs. Good enough to play YouTube at 1080 with no issues. I would check in your area what bands are being used before buying.

Greater than one weekI came to the Honor 8x after 2 years if using the Honor 6x (screen cracked). I was hesitant about whether it would work in the US, but I can confirm that it does work on the Cricket Network in Florida. However, you cannot register a support account in the US. Oh well. Screen is taller than the 6x, and not as easy to use one handed. I have to shift my hand to access the top and bottom buttons, and I have large hands. Landscape typing is not as great either because the keyboard takes up the entire screen. That being said, the camera seems better, and the large screen is nice. It does come with a thin screen protector installed and a thin, clear plastic phone case if you want to try that before ordering an aftermarket case. UI is not as good as the 6x, but Ill get used to it. Overall Im pleased.

> 3 dayCheap but very high quality phone. Great photos, fast, a lot of functions, best of all, the battery last much longer vs Notes. I used to use Samsung Note series but when I needed to buy a new phone, the new Notes are too expensive. After shopping around, I came across this phone. There were some concerns about the mother company but I am not famous nor wealthy so I guess I am not a target of being spying on. So far I am very satisfied with this

> 3 dayActually a very nice looking and usable phone. Fast and smooth for 4gb of ram it does the trick. Battery lasts all day power using and charges relatively fast. No wireless charging though which stinks. Only been 4 days using it so I cant say in the long run itll be. System 9.0 update has flaws you lose led notification light and seems a bit buggy so stay on 8.0 for a while till 9.1 rolls out. Decent phone decent price.

11-11-2024Im so happy with this phone! Ive had it for about 2 months now and works great. Ive never had or seen a phone have this great of a battery life. It is so nice not to have to worry if my phone will die during the day when I have to use it a lot. The screen is awesome, the cameras great, and it looks really nice.
