02-11-2024I will never buy another HP product after the way they handled a defect. I bought the computer for my 6th grader for virtual school. We had problem after problem with it. It finally quit connecting to the internet altogether. The error message clearly stated it is hardware or driver issues. We are still under the one year warranty. After speaking to tech support for over 30 minutes they refuse to honor the warranty and kept saying it was a virus. Clearly not a virus and is a lemon. They want me to pay to have it repaired. Will not happen. I’ve now purchased an Apple MacBook and have had no issues. I highly recommend you don’t waste your money on an HP.

> 3 dayIm pretty impressed with this laptop. Its really fast, has a great battery life, and is very light. I mostly use this for school, photo editing, and to run some technical computing software. No problems so far! The fan does run but its not as loud as other machines Ive used.

> 3 dayI got the HP 15-inch FHD laptop for my daughter in case school was cancelled again due to coronavirus. (Her Mac broke). It is a reasonable price, but has some flaws, hence the 4 star review. I love that it has a 10 hour battery life and is very lightweight, so its very portable. However, if I wanted to use it as a work-from-home computer, this is not functional as it doesnt have a Ethernet port as some employers require that. So, its Wi-Fi or nothing. HP needs to put one in to make it more compatible for various usages.

> 3 dayThis was a pretty good laptop for the price. The worst thing about it is the silver keys with letters marked in black, those are really hard to see from any angle but straight up. The function keys are extremely difficult to read. Thats probably just a poor color choice on my part. It also runs a little hot, that can be a real problem over any fairly long period of time. Its a good backup to have if you make the mistake of buying a Lenovo.

> 3 dayExcellent work computer for the price...started right up...out of the box...absolutely a work horse! Wish I could have backlit keys for a bit more money...my eyes are not as good as in the past. Otherwise light weight, and completely reliable! Ohhhh....I needed this computer to be delivered immediately because I teach online and I literally had students waiting for my correspondence by the next day...and Amazon was amazing!! This was recently with all the COVID-19 issues and I got incredible service. Thank you from my heart.
