I love it.

I like the laptop a lot. Worthy of buying.

Touch screen is okay but doesn’t work well with stylus. Description says it has a backlit display which typically means the keyboard but it isn’t backlit.

chrome platform, undesirable

I checked the Android Auto-update policy and the newest HP Chromebook 14 is good until 2026. This model is only good until 2024, so thats a definite consideration when purchasing. It also makes the product description of Newest a lie. The blue light filter is the worst Ive seen in a product. It is angle-dependent, so if you tilt the screen slightly up or down, the filtering changes a lot. I do not recommend this product, especially if theres a newer one available at this price point.

Basic, but excellent. If it had had a backlighted keyboard I would have kept it.

This is expired. Unable to update and couldnt even do simple things like adding apps from the Google store. Pass on this one. The price is low for a reason.

I got this hoping for a cheap and safe way to do all my work for college. I could over look the bad touch screen and terrible audio. However, I once I tried opening files that were not from Google, I was sent down a rabbit hole. Every where I searched for a way to open MY FIRST FILE. Google was there telling me to subscribe to a third party to open my files. EVEN A BASIC WORD FILE couldn’t be opened. It told me to go to the google play store to download word. BUT GUESS WHAT. After trying to download it and being peppered with errors, it turns out the SOME CHROMEBOOKS, INCLUDING THIS ONE. CANNOT DOWNLOAD WORD OR MICROSOFT OFFICE.... but if you don’t need Microsoft you should be good.
