> 3 dayMuch better vampire movie than any of the crap coming out now. Full of chills, shadows and blood thirsty vampires. Its obviously a 1970s flick, but ti hold up well.

17-11-2024When I saw this movie when it first came out, about a hundred years ago, it gave me nightmares. This time, when I rented it, I drifted off into a sound repose before it was over.

14-11-2024It was good, I just didnt like the ending! It could of ended with a different story line. But both Dark Shadow movies, will be worth something, as their are only two. And they are not making any more, so hold on to what you have, collectors!

> 3 dayI saw this movie in 1970 in Houston Texas. It had not even came close to where I live in Louisiana. I watched the TV shows everyday and seeing it made into a movie was the icing on the cake. I love the old shows and did find my VHS after I ordered this DVD. I love it and would take nothing for the show and my memories as how my kids and I grew up watching it. I also really enjoyed the TV soap that came out in 1990, i believe with Ben Cross. There couldnt have been a better group of actors and it was most like the first Dark Shadows with newer times. I also have that long 3 disc movie. It is wonderfully in taste with what the show really was about. A shame it wasnt allowed to continue on TV. The Dark Shadows that Johnny Depp was in was a disgrace to the memory of a wonderful spook show that many of us remember always.

> 3 dayI am so pleased that this movie was finally released in DVD format after 41 years. It is an excellent gothic horrow movie starring Jonathan Frid as Barnabas Collins, the ultimate vampire. I highly recommend this DVD for all Dark Shadows fans!!

> 3 dayIt can be hard to watch the old soap opera, given the limited production values & unforgiving schedule. Not so here! Authentic locations & costumes; great acting; lots of plot development in just 90 minutes; fantastic makeup by oscar winner Dick Smith (Exorcist, Little Big Man). This is an outstanding blu-ray transfer! Vivid colors, deep blacks, super sharp. A must-buy for any true horror fan!

> 3 dayA quite memorable Dan Curtis production that I can watch over and over again. Has all of the elements that got me interested in the original TV show from the 60s.
