House of Dark Shadows (DVD)

The thing I love about this movie......is it takes the Dark Shadows tv series and shoves it into a 2 hour movie!!!! You get all the Jonathan Frid vampire action, the gothic sets, the atmosphere, the cute girls running around. I remember being a kid and seeing this one advertised on Bob Wilkins Creature Features in the 70s ..........but never got a chance to see it. Then it disappeared, except for crummy quality bootlegs, now finally a clean, clear copy. Love it.

I recently purchase an extra copy for my old college buddy. He flipped out! What fun, we all miss Jonathan Frid terribly.

I love Dark Shadows and loved that this movie was really like watching episodes. But I didnt like the bloodiness of it. It was kind of over the top for me. Im glad I got the Instant Video instead of buying the DVD because I probably wouldnt watch it again.

I am glad to have the dvd version. The music, the costumes, the story. It was a treat to watch on the big screen. It is always great to watch.

I really enjoyed the Dark Shadow series but this version was horrible. They ruined the story and I was very upset

Very disappointed didn’t even have A color illustrated Covered picture of the DVD I would’ve paid a little bit extra to have a decent copy of the house of dark shadows Even though this was used it said it was in good condition very disappointing
