> 24 hourPros: My background.. 2 people, no kids, 8 year old Carpets. Did what it said, removed all stains, dirt and poo and pee. Used Hover deep clean and restore. My case this completed the job with some to spare. 3 bed rooms average size 14x14 and 3 rugs 2-8x10 and 1-5x7. This thing really picked up a lot of dirt! Water was black!! Carpets are clean with no stains this beats paying a company to rip you off (no naming)!!! Cons: Kind of cheap all plastic and you need a philips screwdriver to complete. Had to fill and empty containers about twice per room. Other than that it works!

> 24 hourOur shampooer broke mid job. Thats the way things go. We ordered this as a replacement. It came the next day. I did the other half of the room with a 3 year old Hoover product. I picked up where I left off. The difference was highly visible. I had to redo the areas I did just the day before. I personally think the circular rotation of the brushes is key to the cleaning of the carpets. The stairs did require second pass with the scrub head. Make sure you prime the attachment hose. The attachment hose we did have a bit of a struggle getting it to clip in initially. The furniture attachment is standard compared to other units. The suction power of the unit is awesome. It comes with a cleaning tool the help clean the main head. Easy disassembly to help clean the head. WE LOVE THIS

> 24 hourI like this machine! We previously had a different brand, and we had to take it apart several times to get the suction going again/get it to work at all. It just stopped being worth the hassle. I wont name the brand, because we also had a house dog while we owned that shampooer, and now we dont. So a comparison may not be fair. Some people are complaining about certain things. I dont presume that they dont have valid complaints, but I will address a couple of them from my experience. I will also mention a few things Ive learned. Rusting/freezing up: I have used it probably 5 times, and have not had a problem. I always go over the carpet with just suction when I am done cleaning. I dump the water out of the clean and dirty tanks. I clean the filter and let it, and the dirty water tank, air dry before putting it back together. Maybe these steps help with the rust issue. Leaking: the only leak problem I had was on the first use: the soap dispenser drained completely, after only using it on one small carpet. I knew that was way too much soap (but wow, the carpet was clean!) I contacted customer service online. The guy was sympathetic but said he had never heard of this problem. I said I would try it again to see if it did it again, suspicious that I had done something wrong. My conclusion: user error. When replacing the dirty water tank, there is a lock on the front of the machine. It should snap into place and make a noticeable click when it is correctly placed. When it was not nested correctly, it caused the soap release button to be continuously pressed, causing soap to dispense all the time. So I have not ever had that problem again. Customer service: The rep I spoke with emailed me with a follow-up note, to ask if I was still having problems. I was impressed that he took that step. Since I had fixed my own error, all was well. I did not need further help, so I cant comment on how that might have gone. This cleans well, but Im sure it is not as good as a commercial shampooer. I have found that I may need to spot-treat some stains. For food or pet stains, one or two treatments with a pet stain cleaner with enzymes, prior to shampooing, does wonders. For very dirty, high traffic areas, I hit those first with the wash setting. Then I go over the entire carpet on the wash setting, then rinse well, and one more time with no just suction. I do think that the drying feature seems to dry it more than my previous machine did. My previous machine also had a heater for the clean water. This machine does not. I only fill it with hot water, and it is used up within 15 minutes, so I think this works just fine. One irritation I have is that the tanks never need attention at the same time, and I found myself stopping every five minutes to dump the dirty water, or fill the soap or clean water reservoirs. So now if one tank needs attention, I take both and dump/refill all in one trip. I can keep going longer that way. A very simple fix. There are attachments to use on upholstery or small areas. They are stored in a bag, which is not as convenient as having them all snapped right onto the machine. I have not used them yet, so I cant comment on how well those work. Also, I do not use the Hoover brand of soap. I make my own. I know that this is not recommended, and may void any warranty. Do so at your own risk, but I have not had any problems doing so. This was $130 when I bought it in 2018, and I have used it several times. We dont have a lot of carpet, but ours gets pretty dirty. My nearest place to rent a commercial shampooer is 20 miles away, and it costs $30 per day to rent. I have gotten my moneys worth out of this machine already. I hope it keeps running for a long time, but even if it doesnt, I am a satisfied customer. I am paying for convenience-no trips to pick up and return- as well as cleaning my carpet. If I wanted one to last for years and years, I would not expect to pay this amount. I am sad that some manufactured things these days end up being disposable, but I also dont want to fork over 3-5 times the amount for a more heavy-duty machine.

> 24 hourThis carpet cleaner absolutely WILL get your carpets clean. I have owned many carpet cleaners in my time, and none of them have pulled up as much gross as this one has. To put this into perspective, I have 2 hairy cats, two hairy dogs ( GSD and a sharpei mix. Shedders for sure) as well as 3 children under the age of 10 who live their lives on a homestead. Messes are only second nature to us, and carpets are designed for destruction and gross collections. I go over a carpet twice and its coming up almost clean on the second round. It also pulls almost as much water as it puts down. Full and empty almost at the same time. The downside - people are NOT kidding when they say it has a small tank. I went over this small section twice and filled/emptied the tank 4 times. I understand if the tank was any bigger, this cleaner would be downright heavy and hard to move, but alas it still sucks to have to run up and down the stairs to fill it. In spite of this, I would still purchase this carpet cleaner again :)

> 24 hourOkay, so the thing is more lightweight than my old hoover shampooer and makes much less noise. It does a good job as far as I can tell cleaning the carpet and throw rugs. Have to give it 5*s on that count but I could not find hoover shampoo at Walmart so I brought an off-brand. But could not be sure how much to add to the soap dispenser because I didnt know how much water the other half of the dispenser held. I had to get an empty gallon container and pour it into the water side of the tank to know how much of shampoo solution to add to the other half. In the end, it was way too soapy as I probably put in too much. Whatever. I used it anyway. THEN here is the part to be careful about (the design flaw). The dirty water container has two latches, one on each end. I unlatched the wrong end and then when i picked the dirty water tank up and out to dump it... it released dirty water all over the floor! Luckily it was on a tile floor and i re-attached the dirty water tank and sucked it right up. Now that I made that mistake once, wont be doing THAT again. Overall, now that i have gotten the hang of it, its going to be just fine. I like Hoover products. I used my old hoover shampoo for nearly 10 years and let my family borrow it too. I have a hoover vac that is awesome and love it. It was great and this one is going to be great too now that Ive made a few mistakes and figured out how to use it properly. I recommend it overall with the above caveats. Hope my review helps someone.

> 24 hourI got this first because it was name brand, and not super pricey. I have used it on furniture three times and on an area rug once. Super satisfying results, easy to use/understand the accessory tools. Highly recommend. It is also pretty light weight to carry up and down stairs. Only thing I would say is definitely keep the red rubber mat handy and have the carpet cleaner rest on it when using the accessory, a bit of water does come out of the main cleaner when cleaning with the accessory hose.

> 24 hourThis is a fantastic scrubber. I will let any reader know very specifics about this scrubber. I previously owned the scrub master older version from about 4 yrs ago. The brushes stopped spinning and I needed a new one. I chose this scrubber because of the price, it came with alot of attachments in their own bag, and because its hoover. I believe hands down hoover is the best. Anyway. I chose this one as my new scrubber. BIG DIFFERENCE! My last hoover was way heavier than this one even before adding water. Also, my old one was longer in the front, making it awkward to carry because all the weight was hanging in the front. This scrubber is nice and compact. Shorter, lighter, and not as wide. Big wheels and short front make it very easy to turn, where my old one was harder. I always bumped stuff. Startup: cord is decent. I wouldnt say short its about average. this scrubber is very quiet. I actually think its quieter than my vacuum slightly. My old one was super duper loud I didnt even want kids downstairs it was so loud. This one is like a vacuum but you can immediately hear the power. The brushes scrubbed so well I could feel the brush vibration sometimes from how powerful. take others advice, rinse wash rinse. Rinse gets your carpet damp enough to work with the soap and move with the brushes easier when you wash. Im 8 months pregnant and can handle this machine so well. Does not strain me to use, and I can actually carry it. Tanks: two tank system plus other compartment for solution, perfection! They are slightly smaller tanks than the scrub master, but Im fine with that because the machine isnt as bulky or heavy. If you ever owned a huge scrubber, you would appreciate the lighter weight, but its not too light. The $89 Bissell classic model, is alot smaller than this machine (for comparison). So I love the size. What took only one tank on my old take just a little over one for each step (rinse step rinse) but honestly I dont care if rather refill than drag a huge machine. Result: my carpets are very clean now. Even spray! The powerful brushes fluffed up my carpet way better than my old machine. Oh my. So soft to walk on and the high traffic area that was crushed down I could barely get up with my old machine, is so fluffed now! So better performance, shocking for a smaller machine. Cleanup: Advanced! If you have ever seen someone elses scrubber, the front window where the water and dirt is sucked up is always disgusting! My old machine came with a thin tool to scrape some gunk out, but I lost it and over time the hair and dirt just collected in it. No way to take this part apart on any machine to clean it. Its sealed and screwed down. On this scrubber, you can actually take it off and clean it! What!? With a V shape it isnt holding a ton of dirt, and the hose attachment flap is in the center so you can rinse the whole inside of this piece. This is a huge plus, people. You can clean everything on this machine spotless when you are done. Please do clean after every use, it only took me ten minutes but it prolongs the life of all scrubbers. I used and cleaned it and it looks brand new, cant even tell I used it. Anyone who owns a scrubber knows how amazing that is. I have struggled with my old one trying to get it clean but never could get that front part clean enough. Gross. Final thought: LOVR THIS MACHINE. Im sorry some other people had trouble, it happens with some products not every one is perfect. This machine didnt leak like my other one, light, and very powerful. I know scrubbers, and this is top knotch! And for $130? Are you kidding!? Fantastic. If you have very tough stains I buy carpet spray spot cleaner and pretreat sometimes, which who cares I understand some stains depending what it is can be hard. But this scrubber is top of the line. Trust me. Why spend more money? Get this machine.

> 24 hourThis cleaner really does a very good job. My only complaint is I find I have to empty the retrieving tank much more often as it seems like it is a smaller capacity then a previously owned Hoover product. In the past I could do my entire house and empty it just once. With his model yesterday I had to empty it three times. But again performance wise it does work great.
