> 3 dayAs a triathlete maintaining nutrition during an Ironman event is critical. Using these products ensures that I am keeping up with what is needed to keep my calories and nutrition equalized during this type of endurance race.

> 3 dayA few months ago I originally purchased the strawberry banana flavor. I personally though the taste was awful and the texture was so thick it was disgusting. I couldnt even swallow it straight out of the package, I had to chew on it and swish it around my mouth with water and then force it down my throat. I let one of my friends try it and we had to stop the workout because the taste made him sick. However, the Vanilla flavor does NOT have any of those problems. The flavor is great and you can really taste the vanilla flavor. One of my friends thought it was a little on the sweet side but I love it. It is also a lot thinner, I can easily stick it in my mouth and gulp it down without wasting any time. Gu is good stuff, I can feel the difference on longer rides and it definitely helps me maintain my level of performance.

01-11-2024These are my go-to for long runs. The taste is great and they do what theyre supposed to with an energy boost. I take the first one after 45min, and then one every 45min after that. Definitely need water to stop it gumming up in the mouth, but no digestive issues.

> 3 daySalted Caramel GU helped me train for and crush my second marathon! Delicious and sticky with a little salt and caffeine to keep you going. I have a hard time with other flavored gels because the texture is rather gross. Gooey orange? Salty berry? No thanks. The benefit of salted caramel is you expect caramel to be gooey, so its not revolting to eat something flavored like caramel, that has the texture of caramel.

> 3 dayI have Type 1 Diabetes and Gu is my go-to for treating low blood sugars. Dissolves quickly like juice, but not heavy to carry. My two favorite flavors are Espresso & Vanilla.

> 3 dayThe grape one tastes like bad cough medicine, but the others were great! After trying these flavors, I’m doing subscribe and save with the caramel flavor.

> 3 dayThis has helped my endurance on longer runs and bike rides. Because of the cost, I use it only for competition runs, or when Im cycling with people who I have trouble keeping up with. I figure that 100 calories every 45 minutes, when Im burning 400+ calories, is a good tradeoff. And the slightly better pace offsets some of those calories. The cost is too high, even at Amazons discount pricing, for me to use it for regular running and cycling.

> 3 dayIm sure part of it is psychological, but I always take it before I work out. Whether it is a physical or mental boost, it seems to help me get going.
