> 3 dayPart is fine and installs easily. Just wanted to mention that Grohe refused to honor the lifetime warranty they claim for the faucet and parts. They claim normal wear and tear even though the part is stationary and shouldnt have wear and tear. Several reviews and questions indicate that the part seems to have issues with some people wanting a metal part instead of plastic. The new part I received from Amazon is slightly shorter, apparently a redesign by Grohe to reduce part breakage. The redesign has no effect on installation or function and works great.

> 3 dayIf you want great water pressure with your new Grohe faucet buy one of these and replace it with the one they give you.

> 3 dayPlease take note, a loose fitting on the pull-down sprayer will mimic the symptoms of a bad quick-connect fitting. My experience matched exactly the description of several of the people who replaced the faulty part, but when I installed the new fitting the problem persisted. My wife was turning the water on and off while I was under the sink trying to sort out the un-fixed problem when she mentioned water coming out between the pull-down sprayer and the external faucet tube. A quick check showed that the sprayer head connection was loose and water was flowing back up and over through the external faucet tube and draining out under the sink. With low water flow, not a problem, but when the water was turned on full, water again drained out under the sink. This isnt to say that the quick disconnect fittings dont go bad and need replacing, but just a caveat to check the connection on the sprayer head as part of the diagnosis. An NTSB investigator would say that my mistake was applying seemingly accurate anecdotal evidence. ie my leak story exactly matched everyone elses, to reach an erroneous conclusion without also looking for other factors that could cause the same fault. Learn from my mistake.

Greater than one weekIf your leaking under the kitchen sink, it’s probably this weak leak. Easy to install. Not sure why they make this important part in plastic.

> 3 dayThe grohe quick coupling fit was correct. I had used my original coupling twice but decided to purchase a new one. Im glad that I did. One word of caution: make sure when connecting back to your faucet, check for clearance between the three tubes. The coupling should snap on without much effort.

> 3 dayEasy to install. I dont have much of experience in the plumbing department, but this was easy to replace. Replaced about a year ago, have not had any issues since.
