This roll DOES NOT SLIP in Tape King dispensers. Tape Kings own tape (both the tape included with the dispensers, and sold separately) slips so much that it is almost unusable. Grizzly Powers tape almost always stays in place when the dispenser is used. Its also a good price and sticks well, but the non-slipping by itself would merit 5 stars compared to Tape King tape.

I package and ship every day. Ive used many different brands of tape. Im a tape expert. Positives of this tape: Crystal clear tape - shows labels perfectly for scanners The adhesive does seem quite strong Outstanding price for square foot Negatives of this tape: The thickness is ok for small light weight packages but I would not feel good about shipping out heavy packages with this tape. 2.8 mil is not ideal. 3.1+ is so much better. The tape is slightly stinky. Ive had other brands (will be mentioned below) that dont stink. I ran out of Ducks HP260 which is the Mercedes Benz of clear tape. That tape has the best adhesion, thickness, no stink, of any tape Ive used. Another tape that Ive used on Amazon that was great was Sparco Sealing Tape Heavy Duty (search for 60041 on Amazon). That isnt as good as Ducks tape but it just below it. Those tapes ARE more expensive than this tape. This Grizzly brand tape is probably comparable to something like Scotchs packaging tape. Again, Ill use this tape but for certain instances. Packages that weigh quite a bit or packages with items that are valuable (high priced items) Ill feel more comfortable using another tape. I put this tape on my tape dispenser right after my Sparco ran out and I could feel the difference in thickness instantly. I was a bit disappointed. Not in the Grizzly Brand or the Amazon listing, but in me not realizing that this tape wasnt as thick as the Sparco. User error by me!

It is the best. Stock up when it is available. Works perfectly in tape guns. Staff hates when I am forced to buy another brand. If you like cheaper randomly thinner imported tape (with the same 2.8 mil thickness) that breaks randomly and enjoy trying to restart tape then by all means keep looking. If tape that just dispenses correctly flawlessly then Grizzly is the best and only American made packing tape you need.

This tape smells BAD, like really really bad. I had to put the extras in the garage I couldnt stand the smell in the house. I even keep the tape in a zip lock so you cant smell it It is super sticky - so sticky it doesnt come of the roll smoothly. This sounds minor right? well when you are shipping multiple things a day, everyday, you want to do it fast and efficiently. This tape takes time because its not coming off the roll right. I end up rolling it off with my hand, cutting it, then putting it on the box. My scotch or duck type brand tape I can put on the box and just roll my tape right down the box and tear at the end. It just makes shipping more tedious with this sticky, stinky tape. I wont be ordering again because Id rather have faster, more convenient tape that doesnt smell. Yes, it was cheap tape, but cheap is not always better.

It’s time to downsize, and I’m packing up the house we have lived in for the past 23 years. This is the third brand of packing tape that I’ve tried, and it is by far the best. It’s easy to work with and holds beautifully - better than the 3M I last used, at a much better price. Don’t let the low price fool you - this is a superior tape.

Good packaging tape. Adheres well, I would recommend overlapping the tape onto itself when using it on boxes to ensure adhesion during shipping. I always do that with all tape to be on the safe side because I do not know what happens after the package leaves my hands. I feel that it is a good value for the money. The only thing is it does have a bit of a smell, but not that bad to where it is a lasting affect after it is applied.

This is a good heavy clear tape that seals well. I had used the lighter and cheaper tapes before and did not like them at all. This is a good product!!
