Buy it… easy as that, thick & sticks!!!

Though this tape is really, really strong in adhesion, it really stinks. It sets my asthma off. I keep it outside until I am ready to use a roll. I still use it as it does a great job, better than --- you know who, in sticking to the box. It is easy enough to pull the tape off the roll but my scissors always gets stuck. In fact, some of the glue sticks to my scissors and I have to clean it off with glue removing cleaning solution. I do not use one of those packing tape dispensers, knowing how lesser adhesive tapes stick on it when trying to use it, I can imagine how much of a problem I would have using one of these rolls, so my scissors are the best. It also has enough on one roll, so far, to package and ship out 8 big boxes, and I am not done yet and neither is the first roll, and I double and triple tape on all four openings (both sides, top and bottom), as I see how boxes look when they get to me. Still, it is well worth the money and using my inhaler to continue using. I would give it a 5 rating if it werent for the bad smell. I would recommend it to anyone who does not have allergy/asthma problems, and caution those who do. But if you are tired of cheaply made shipping tape then this is the right one for you.

Seems strong. Sticks well. Only complaint is weird strong smell. Hoping the smell will clear but does not affect adhesion. Sticks together so well it was very hard to get the rolls atop another apart to use. Great price.

Yes, like everyone else said its smells like chemical glue but for the price its a fantastic deal. Tape is hard to unroll and very noisy but if youre like me and like to ridiculous over tape packages it will save you a lot of money.

Let me just say I never thought I’d have a tape preference!!! This tape is nice and thick. It doesn’t yellow. I’ve used it with a variety of dispensers. I have no complaints.

Affordable

So, for the most part, I would love to give this tape 5 stars, because it works great and is priced well. However, the chemical smell that comes off of this tape is so overwhelming, after boxing up about 15-20 boxes for my etsy shop, I cant stay in the same room until it airs out. It is really bad. If you are in a vented or very large space, it wouldnt be a problem and I would recommend it highly. If you have a small office to run an etsy business, or something along those lines, think very carefully about how much you are bothered by chemical smells. They normally dont bother me that much, but this is just overwhelming.

I use Lots of packing tape to seal up boxes containing my Art Work to be shipped out world wide and this is the best value packing tape Ive ever gotten on Amazon.

The original Scotch would be a better choice unless you need a really thick tape! Hard to get off of the roll!
