To be completely fair, the dimensions are as described. I docked this to a 3 star review as one of the pictures depicting the item on a desk makes the item appear to be larger than it is. While subjective, it is clear that this photo was taken for the purpose of exaggerating the size. For those of us without a measuring tape at the desk when ordering who depend on the pictures, it is clear this item is being shown in a way to increase its size. The reason I do not give this 1 star is that the written dimensions are technically accurate.

I get so many reactions with this on my desk. I named mine Jerome and that seems to prompt even more/better reactions.

I wasnt happy with how small it was, but that was my fault for not paying attention to the description. I had anticipated a full size skull. That aside, it is of excellent quality and it is quite detailed. It looks amazing on my dining room table next to the candelabra so Im very impressed overall. Highly recommend--but make sure to check dimensions prior to ordering. :)

This is well crafted with good detail and with proper coloring. But its only about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of an Actual adult human skull, so its not going to fill anyone. But it looks great on my book shelf in the library. Next to the Edgar A. Poe collection. Its a keeper.

Not adult life sized, it’s about the size of a 3 year olds skull but has adult teeth other than that, the skull is nice, good quality, packed great

First, its smaller than you think. I am guessing the stated dimensions are accurate and that my estimate of what those dimensions look like are just off. But its about the size of a large apple. Id say, even if it wasnt damaged, the price @ $18 is too high. But, then again, I am guessing that is also pre-Halloween gouging. The bigger issue is that as soon as I got it out of the packaging (and it is packaged very well) I could see the finish was rubbed off in several places. Upon touching those areas, more of the finish just came off on my finger. Its like they got hydro-dipped or sprayed with the finish but whatever the finish is, is very thin and flakey. I think they need to hit these with a thick coat of polyurethane after the finish or something. Whatever the case, I am sending it back.

Ive been collecting skulls for decades and this is by far the best looking and least expensive skull i have ever seen. At first glance it looks like a real childs size skull.

We bought this skull to scare future home remodelers and hid it under the stairs. Since we plan on living in this home for 50 years we are playing the long con.

Love it. Looks great on my desk.
