The product I received was not an authentic gerber product like the ones Ive received ordering direct from gerber the chain was different and the material was stiff so it leaked right away after installing

My new toilet (6 months since installed) started suffering running toilet syndrome Once I figured out what the problem was, I started looking at the local hardware store and the big box stores, Amazon had it cheapest. and since this was a basement toilet, I just turned off the water and waited, once it came, I went down and replaced it, with in a minute and a half, my toilet was fixed, This is an easy fix, unless you are one of those who dont know which end of a screwdriver to use.
