> 3 dayLike other reviewers have indicated, the chain on this flapper is too short. I had to replace it with the old flapper chain, which was kind of a pain. You better have a needlenose pliers. Also, the bulb on this flapper does not have the hole on the front of it like the original one had. My flush takes longer and uses more water with this flapper. I’m not sure what effect that has on the toilet.

> 3 dayThis Was not at all usable. It was meant to replace flap in my bathroom that caused the water to keep running in the toilet tank. It was installed and the water still runs. It was so heap that it does not pay for me to return it. This is the second flap I ordered that was not adequate.

> 3 dayI went to Home Depot and purchased a flapper. Did not take long to see that it would not work. I ordered the gerber 99-788 flapper and have never been happier. I liked the idea that Amazon had my back. The product worked from day one and continues to impress.

> 3 dayIf you are having a leaking flapper (99-788) because it is distorted call Gerber @ 888.648.6466 and they will replace it for free within the the first 5 years. Just spoke to them and they are sending me 4 upgraded versions, FOR FREE, because there may be a problem with the factory installed versions.

> 3 dayThe chain on the flapper is 2.5 shorter than the previous exact replacement. It was too short for my application. Lucky to have a chain coupling for a quick fix. Why the short chain?
