It was not as easy to install as others I have done, but I am getting older so more things are harder to do!

A little tricky on the removal of the old one. Checked online for other comments and learned that you need to cut it off. Easy install. No leaking!

Cant find these in the Home Depot and the universal ones dont work for this application

Wish these had a longer life. Tried a Korky replacement because they seem to last longer, but the Korky feels squishy when you flush compared to these factory originals.

I bought this to replace the flapper on our Gerber avalanche toilet, but the chain was too short to connect to the handle. I put the original chain on to the new flapper and it worked

I have three Gerber toilets that were installed less than 2 years ago and the flappers (G0099788) that were supplied with the toilets have all gone bad. Prior to this, we had 12 year old toilets that we only had to replace the flappers twice for leakage (I keep track). I dont know if its the material that Gerber uses to make these flappers, but its disappointing. If you can find 3 flappers elsewhere, do it.
