I did lots of research (googling) and have come to the conclusion that these are the best filters available when looking for effectiveness and airflow.

I want to believe that its not a placebo effect, because my air quality seems to have improved noticeably in my home after installing this. I upgraded from the lower MERV version to these and it just feels fresher. YMMV depending on the integrity of your ducts, etc.

My oil co usually replaces my air handler filters but they didnt bring any filters when they did my service this time. I went online and purchased these filters based on how clean they will keep the air. The cheap filters we removed from the air handlers were filthy! I am glad we upgraded to a better quality filter.
