My mother and I perpetual allergies, with mom being asthmatic and me being somewhat prone to dermatitis. Living next to an active road with a cat meant that searching for the highest MPR rated filter for my condo is an absolute must. I started using the 1900 MPR 12x24x1 filter when I moved to my condo almost two years ago (unfortunately there is no 2200 MPR rating for filters in that dimension). When my mom visited, she was both able to stay for an extended period of time without itching, sneezing, or hives. As for me, I find that it reduces my dermatitis significantly. Not too expensive, and well worth the higher standard of living especially when it comes to indoor air.

These filter work great at cleaning the air and still allowing the furnace to work properly. Some filters are too restrictive and dont allow air through and actually cost you money because your furnace has to run longer. There were also rated very well through Consumer Reports.

Works well. As advertised. We change them out every 30-45 days.

I ordere 20 x 24 x 1, but what I got was more like 20 x 24.5 x 1. It didnt fit! WTH!?!?! Such a waste of money!

Ive been using Filtrete brand allergy HVAC filters since I bought my home in 2004 and our ventilation ducts still look like new. I change the filters every 3-4 months. Major reduction in pollutants, great for allergy sufferers like myself. Make sure you change them on a regular schedule.

When you see the 3M name on anything it usually indicates top of the line quality. Not for this particular order. First of all ,the original order was lost and from viewing the pictures you can see why they were lost. These expensive filters were damaged because they got bent from not being shipped in box. Some of the plastic wrap is off exposing the filters already to dirt prior to me receiving them. Under normal circumstances, these filters are worth the money because they help with easing my allergies by capturing most of the airborne irritants before I breathe them in. I would easily give 5 stars with for the filters, but the packaging impacts the score. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen. This is terrible!
