I use it to condition my Australian horse saddle

For a product and company thats been around for a long time one would assume making sure nosy and careless warehouse workers cant open the thing- exposing it to warehouse dust and other airborne debris bc its soft as butter

This is probably fine with darker black and brown leathers, but I wouldnt recommend it with colorful leather. I tried it on a pair of red leather boots and the red literally came off on the cloth with the soap, and now those areas on the boots are a pink color - very noticeably faded. And they are a pair of Clarks so I know they are of decent quality on their own. Also, the yellow color of the soap turned the red thread in the creases yellow, so beware of that as well.

I needed saddle soap to clean my Sperrys. Considering how old they are, and the fact that the most recent stain was bacon grease, it did a reasonable job of cleaning them.

Awesome! I got this to use on a long leather coat that I bought at a used clothing store. The coat was in pretty bad shape, but this made the leather a lot smoother and cleaner, and it smelled great afterwards. Highly recommended.

This is great for shoes, handbags, and if we were on the farm, would use it on the saddles, etc ... Most people do not know to condition their leather and protect it this way versus using a spray product that often is not the best for the leather ... Great product.
