> 3 dayIm someone who absolutely hates DIY, so something as simple as cutting a hole in tupperware is still to annoying of a task for me, so I bought this cave to use as a moist hide for my Leo. She is relatively large, and upon opening the package, I at first thought it would be too small for her to fit in. She actually fit perfectly and just had a great shed. She spends most of her time in here and the hide keeps the paper towel moist for 2-3 days at a time. Would highly recommend.

> 3 dayI got a small because based on other reviews it seemed like a decent size. So I ordered a small for my still very shy snake who didn’t have a closed off hide like this. She’s a baby cornsnake and just barley fits in it but seems to LOVE it. I’ll have to upgrade her to a large or find on specifically for snakes soon though with sucks because like I said. I thought it would be bigger and she will outgrow it in no time

> 3 dayMedium was a little small but my leopard gecko likes it as her humid hide. I’d probably go for large if it wasn’t out of stock at the time

> 3 dayIm actually using this for a juvenile rosy boa rather than a gecko, but it works great for him. Most of the time I dont use the bottom of the hide, but its nice to have it available to use if I want to make him a moist hide during shedding without getting his bedding damp.

Greater than one weekThis was a great purchase for my leopard gecko. She is about 5-6 months old. Albino. Kind of a chunky girl, but Ive got her in a diet now. I purchased the large size and currently have her in a 20 gallon tank. Im planning on moving her to a more well planned deluxe environment, so I purchased this as one of her hiding huts. Its very spacious and can also double up as a humidity hut for when shes shedding. Its definitely well weighted, and has a good texture in case she decides to climb on top of it. I would highly suggest purchasing this for anyone who has a smaller sized reptile.

Greater than one weekHe loves it! I use it as a moist hide with some paper towels to hold moisture. Just check daily to keep them moist and replace them weekly. Easy to clean with smooth surfaces inside and fits great in my 20-long. I place it about halfway onto the warmer side so it stays about 85 inside. He loves to just hang out in his cave with his head sticking out so he can see whats happening. He tries to climb it but its smooth and hes a lousy climber. No sharp edges or weird smell. I debated the large or medium, but the large is the perfect size for my guy.

> 3 dayIt is as expected, but the entrance is a little small for my leopard gecko. I think he will use it more when I can put the bottom on. (Im waiting for my warm hide to come in so I can get rid of the blue container and use this for the moist hide.)

> 3 dayI bought this cave for my leopard gecko and I looked perfect until my husband felt the opening of the cave. It has very sharp edges all along the top of the entrance. I returned it because I was afraid he would scrap or tear his skin going in and out of it. Its too bad because it looked like other wise it would be perfect. I gave it 3 stars because a snake would probably love it since the wouldnt be touching the top of the entrance. Or perhaps a smaller animal. My gecko is full grown and the cave is a perfect size, I just didnt like the sharp edges on the inside of the entrance.

> 3 dayThe large cave is a little big for anything under a 20gal long tank if you want 3 hides (hot, cool & moist) The medium was a little too tight for my 4 year old Gecko, the large leaves plenty of extra space. Overall a good product, mine had a couple sharp edges, but they are easy to file or sand off.
