No sharp edges, smooth on the inside and I’d say it looks the same if not better than in photos. Size large is ideal for adult leopard geckos, mine seems to like it

I got the small version for my Kenyan sand boa and it is perfect. She is a baby so its a good size for her for now. Looks great, if I ever need a humid hide this size again I will be ordering another!

This hide blends perfectly into a natural terrarium, is spacious enough to allow for growth, and provides a convenient way to provide a moist hide for shedding times. I worried that it would be too large for a 10g tank, but the back right corner of the rock is mildly squared off and fits neatly into that corner of the tank. My leopard gecko is 5 months old, and this gives him plenty of room to grow. Nice to know there are larger sizes, if needed, and smaller, if I ever have hatchlings. Rinse and wipe before using, of course, and keep on the cool side of the hab to prevent cracking, particularly if you use it for a humid hide.

Purchased the medium sized listed. This is used as the mid-hide in my leopard geckos vivarium. It isnt too big for a baby (~5 inches long) and has enough room for him to grow. He enjoys climbing on top and I am please being able to lift the top when needed. In the event he outgrows this size, I will definitely purchase the larger one. Great buy.

I bought this to use for my leopard gecko as a humid hide. It is great! Came packaged well and undamaged. It is very sturdy and quality is good. It is decently heavy, therefore, not easy for my gecko to move. It is made of two pieces that come apart which make it easy for cleaning or filling it with needed substrate. Or if your reptile is hiding in it and you need to get them out. Looks very realistic and looks great in a tank setup. Would highly recommend for leopard geckos or other reptiles of similar size.

Honestly, I either dont have it anymore or it packed away somewhere deep but when I did have this product it was very easy to clean! Never had any mold or anything stuck to it that couldnt easily be wiped off. Color never rubbed off and it never flaked. The top was slightly wobbly connecting to the bottom in a way that would only be a problem if it was in with a small animal that could still move the top as it might land on them but seeing as how it isnt very heavy, it would probably be fine. Had it for years and the only reason I dont now is because I went more natural in my tanks and most of my reptiles are too large for it, anyhow.

Ive been using this for a few weeks now as a moist hide and its the best. Its pretty big so if you have a 12 wide tank its going to take up a big chunk and I would advise you to get the medium. I honestly might get the medium myself to save some surface area of the tank. Nevertheless this is a great product made by a great company.

My juvenile leopard gecko LOVES this hide! He uses this hide the most out of his 3. I frequently use this as a moist hide to help him shed. It works great because it has the bottom piece which keeps the substrate from getting wet and also makes it perfect for knowing exactly where to place the moist paper towels or sphagnum moss. Its lightweight and super easy to lift the top off and mist inside or find him hiding in there. The outside surface looks very close to natural rock and the top is semi-flat giving him a place to climb up and look around. When he gets bigger I will definitely buy the large size.

Pretty good and my gecko loves to hide in it and contains moisture really well(I use it as a moist hide) only downside is that the packaging it came it had like clips grabbing onto the hide so it has 2 holes now.

5 stars means I love it according to Amazon, but that is slightly inaccurate. Mr. Speckles, my sons leopard gecko, is the one who loves it. And indeed he does. We keep a little damp moss in the cave, and he hangs out in there quite a lot. He primarily uses the area to poop (we have taken to calling it Mr. Speckless Poopatorium) which is good because its easier to clean than his terrarium mat. We keep this on the cool side of his cage and a half log thing on the warm side with the under terrarium warming pad and the red warming light. Mr. Speckles moves back and forth from the warm log to the cool cave to regulate his body temperature. The cave itself is a two piece deal - a lid and a bottom - which is made of some sort of hard plastic. It has a smooth texture that is easy to wipe up. Based on other reviews, Ive warned my son to be very careful about dropping it (some reviewers say its fragile) so we havent had any issues.
