I used this PSU to build a quiet and durable system, and the 550 W size was more than needed, according to on-line power consumption calculators. However, it developed a noticeable bearing whine after only 12 hours of use. The technical support at EVGA was somewhat helpful, advising me that since I bought the unit through Amazon and could still return it, I should do so. New Corsair PSU has been perfectly quiet for 200 hours. QC at EVGA may be an issue.

Ive used seven, Gold rated EVGA SuperNOVa series PSUs from 550W to 850W. The specific models used were only selected after careful research provided information that the PSU was in actuality manufactured by Super Flower. Super Flower is one of the best PSU manufacturers in the world. The PSU longest in service is an EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W, which has been in several different high-end gaming computers for more than 7 years. None of the seven PSUs has had so much as a hiccup to date..Great units.

Very easy to install, it runs quite for my rig.

I love evga products they are really well made and this power supply is no exception, it has the best build quality I’ve ever seen in a psu and a lot of cables and the installation was a breeze. I love the eco button located next to the power button it really do save electricity

SO MANY CABLES to figure out, but thats my fault for not knowing what the difference was between fully and semi modular were. *fully you plug in all the cables you need, semi most of the important ones are built into the guy*
