Initially after installing the power supply the computer would not post. After removing everything except the ram cpu and boot drive, it did post, however the motherboard did not see the HDD. I added my other two HDDs and it no longer posted. Going back to the single HDD it post, no HDD found still. I added in my GPU at this point, did not post. I swapped my old power supply back in, everything was fine.

Bought this for my first PC build so I dont have much to compare it to but it does seem like a quality product. I have known about EVGA as a brand for a very long time and I currently have a EVGA graphics card along side this psu and the quality and attention to detail is extremely good. So far the psu has been running as expected and have no complaints. I will update as needed in the future.

This PSU replaces a 10 year old quiet (but not silent) Cooler Master PSU in my home theater PC (HTPC). The old PSU still works, but given that the HTPC is on 24 hrs/day, it’s age concerned me.
