This is a nice idea- to get away from single use, disposable deodorant tubes. However, the largest part of the case is the lid- the part you actually hold is somewhat small, making it difficult to maneuver at times. I hope Dove designs a different case in the future. Also, its somewhat discouraging to note that the refills are smaller in size than the single-use tubes. Update: after a weeks worth of use, the refill broke off from the base. Super disappointed.

The deodorant is great nice scent. I have sensitive skin and this is one of two brands that doesnt cause a rash or cysts under my arm. I gave it 3 stars because of the design. 1st time I used the deodorant the stick broke off the base. I smashed it back on and use it carefully but it still will break off occasionally. It needs to go down into the holder to keep it from breaking. The company needs to work on that. The price was reasonably cheap but I wont bother buying a refill. If the company fixes this issue Id purchase again because its a nice holder and a great price.

**no fault to the seller they packaged it perfect and shipped fast** Most important fact. It breaks off at the plastic piece that inserts into the base. Without support (like the twist up ones) you have to be extremely careful. **EXTREMELY** careful, AT THE RIGHT ANGLE. Because ANY stress (Ex: The quick swipe up while applying because your headed to work and you almost forget to put on deodorant) and the ENTIRE THING FALLS OFF AND TUMBLES OUT FROM U DER YOUR SHIRT LEAVING A STAIN OF MOIST DEODORANT AS IT SLIDES DOWN YOUR WORK PANTS. AAAAND now youre definitely late because you have to change.) It breaks. Scent is omg amazing tho.

I love that this is a metal container and that it is refillable. But HORRIBLE execution. The actual deodorant part broke off after 1 day of use. I tried shoving it back on, but it just falls off. It doesnt have support on the sides like a regular traditional kind, or even the Native deodorant. Very disappointed.

Very comfortable fit, nice to hold. Good consistency. But! Its not the same as regular aluminum deodorant. It works poorly. Unfortunately I wont be buying this yet.

Its definitely aluminum free. I forgot that when you switch to aluminum free that theres 4-6 weeks of funk under the arms until the pores that were blocked by the aluminum are clean and clear. It was a smell I was unprepared for. I realize this is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant, and with that in mind, it did exactly as it should have. If you dont want to sweat so much, its not for you. Aluminum Free is great. It shows how much everyone sweats when their pores arent clogged by years of aluminum use. The stick feels great against the skin, and is silky soft. However, I did have to buy an aluminum antiperspirant. When I can hide away from other people for 2 months, Ill switch to aluminum free. Showering twice, and washing my underarms 6+ times a day just to make myself feel kind of clean doesnt work for me right now. The stick didnt break for me, and the base seemed fine. The container was wonderful. It was beautifully crafted, and very sleek. The only problem I had was that the lid didnt snap shut after the first time. It popped back up just enough that it fell off in my purse. I still wouldve bought a refill, when I switched back to Dove aluminum antiperspirants, if there had been an aluminum option. It seems like a waste that the product with the least amount of plastic comes in aluminum free only.

The product itself is fine. Its deodorant, not antiperspirant, but as long as you know that, no surprises. But the packaging is junk. Its attractive but doesnt fit together well. Because of this, the cap will not stay on, so I could never travel with it. Id love to use less plastics but this isnt the way.

I was so excited to get this item.. Then when I got it and used it about 4 times it fell apart.. The deodorant bar came apart from it’s base.. there was no way I could put it back together..therefore I had to discard the deodorant.. I paid to much money to waste it.

I absolutely love the deodorant and the 2 scents I’ve tried. I wanted this to work so badly because I’m all about creating less waste. The 1st time I used the refillable the deodorant broke off the base which was very disappointing and I kept using it and putting it back in the holder and after only a couple days the holder wouldn’t seal. I absolutely love the concept it just needs re-engineered!
