> 3 dayI ordered this 4-pack of DampRid and placed one inside my BBQ grill the day after I had used it and cleaned it out. When not in use, my grill sits under a cover and during the hot/rainy days this past summer, I would sometimes open it to find mold growing on the inside. This forced me to take everything out to clean it and run a fire inside to burn everything off THEN I could cook on it. After putting the DampRid bucket inside, I forgot about it for a couple of weeks then removed the cover and opened the lid to find no mold had been growing despite the fact we had several rainy days in that period. I have been pleased with having the DampRid in my grill and do not find that the soapy smell it has lasts very long once I start burning charcoal. Once the grill cools off, I put the DampRid back inside and replace the cover.

> 3 dayBefore getting these I had used these before. They work very well and I would highly recommend especially for basements. Its very easy to setup and depose of. The ones we had before lasted the summer. Just make sure you put them in a spot were young kids or pets can get to.

> 3 dayI am not really sure what it has done, while it did crystallize and collect some water, the moisture levels have not decreased.

Greater than one weekThe product itself is a good product when it arrives sealed and dry. Thats was not my experience with this shipment though. Disappointing.

> 3 dayWe tried these in our laundry room and I do notice a difference. It’s a very musty room in the basement of out house, and we use a dehumidifier regularly but we can never seem to get rid of that basement smell. This product actually made it smell more pleasant in the laundry room, I was skeptical at first but I do notice a difference. It’s a larger area, so I don’t know how effective it is at absorbing moisture, but it certainly had made the air fresher.

> 3 dayThis is a very good product, works great. I don’t understand why some buyers before reviewing product don’t read carefully that MFD is Manufacturing Date not expiration date. This notes how quick and easy it is to criticize ,

> 3 dayWe live in a place where ambient humidity is usually about 90% or more. Most of the time, we have ACs running which funnel a lot of that out of the air inside, but there are places - sheds, storage rooms, cars- where thats just not possible. And after a hurricane or tropical storm where we have extended power outages and everyone has their windows open? Its just gross. Everything starts to feel slimy and smell a bit funny. This stuff is like a container of baking soda, only instead of putting it in your fridge, you put it in a room, a closet, a car. It really does help. We have a storage room, which sadly is not climate controlled. We keep our camping gear, pool toys, and outdoor holiday inflatables out there, and dampness can be an issue. I also have an SUV which somehow funnels rainwater directly into the back when its raining and Im trying to load/unload. A day or so after that? My car starts to smell like a landfill. Not anymore. Ive put these little containers in both. This really is a great little product!
