> 3 dayWe use these in our under-stair crawlspace where we keep holiday decorations, and we keep two in our RV. They last a while and you can tell they work because after a couple of weeks or a month theres moisture accumulated at the bottom. What I like best about these is that they are refillable, you can purchase the crystals separately once you have the plastic unit so its not wasteful single-use plastic. These dont give off a scent, and they dont take up much space. We like them because theyre reliable and if they spill the water turn into a clear gel that is easy to clean up. I like using these to prevent mold and mildew in areas we dont access very often. They help reduce odors and mold, a big essential thing in RV and basement storage!

Greater than one weekI used this product as instructed. Put out several containers in bathrooms and in a basement closet with salt granules. After a few weeks, the salt granules compacted into a giant clump, but there was no water in the cup to empty or anything like that. It looks like the idea is all well and good, but the actual drying ability of these products is close to zero. Total waste of time and money.

Greater than one weekWe live in a high humidity environment. These are great for small places like closet shelves, linen closets, even chest of drawers. We’ve been using them for years. They are refillable and I think we have about 15 in use at this time. My only issue is they make a mess if knocked over. Be careful when opening them up!

> 3 dayI got these to put in my car that is sitting in storage in the humid summer of Texas. I have someone change out the canister once a month and it has been keeping everything on the inside from molding

> 3 dayI ordered this 4-pack of DampRid and placed one inside my BBQ grill the day after I had used it and cleaned it out. When not in use, my grill sits under a cover and during the hot/rainy days this past summer, I would sometimes open it to find mold growing on the inside. This forced me to take everything out to clean it and run a fire inside to burn everything off THEN I could cook on it. After putting the DampRid bucket inside, I forgot about it for a couple of weeks then removed the cover and opened the lid to find no mold had been growing despite the fact we had several rainy days in that period. I have been pleased with having the DampRid in my grill and do not find that the soapy smell it has lasts very long once I start burning charcoal. Once the grill cools off, I put the DampRid back inside and replace the cover.
