Lo compré para mejorar el rendimiento de un PC I5 que tenía un HDD mecánico. El cambio ha sido increíble, de iniciar en 2 minutos a 20sg. Al ser Crucial te regalan el programa Acronis para Crucial el cual te permite clonar el HDD en el SSD de manera que luego solo tienes que sustituir uno por otro y ya está. El cambio se nota nada mas iniciar por el poco tiempo que tarda y todas las operaciones de copiar y pegar, instalar, etc van muy rápido.

Bought this to replace an SSD which had failed on my wifes computer. Downloaded Windows 10 installation setup to a USB stick. Swapped out the old defective drive. Inserted the USB stick and powered up the laptop. As there was no system on the new SSD it booted from the installation media on the USB. There was a slight problem, I couldnt respond to the questions on the first dialogue as there was no cursor, I plugged in a USB Mouse and got a cursor which allowed me to respond to the questions. I followed the on-screen instructions which included logging on to my wifes Microsoft Account. The machine was recognised from its digital signature and Windows 10 was activated with no problems. I had to go this route as she had not made any backups!

I updated my IMac with this SSD and the install was smooth and it’s working great. Along with a new faster CPU and more memory my early 2009 IMac is like a new machine.

overall its a great piece of hardware. wires plug in where they need to go, fits a standard size SSD drive slot. the only one hiccup i had was installing it: my PC would not accept it as a memory drive. it knew the SSD was plugged in, but wouldnt write anything to it. this was fixed with a short trip to their install FAQ and using their memory manager program to sanitize the drive. one reboot later and i was 500GB deep in sweet seductive SSD. would recommend to anyone.

Installed this to upgrade a slow HDD. Cloning and installation was a breeze. Time will tell on how long it holds up.
