Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD, up to 560MB/s - CT500MX500SSD1(Z)

My mid 2012 MacBook Pro was beginning to run real slow. Emails would take forever to open, more than two tabs open everything would crawl. So I added Crucial16gb Ram along with a Crucial 500gb SSD, wow what a difference, boots up real fast, I have opened up to six tabs and it still runs fast, no more lagging. With the old 4gb ram watching the activity monitor I would use 3.25 gb ram with three tabs open, mail would take forever to open and I would end up in the red having to close tabs. Also buy the USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III Hard Drive Adapter Cable so you can transfer the data before you install the SSD. Took almost three hours to transfer the data, used the Superduper free app which was very easy to follow, it sets up everything for you. When it done just swap the drives, lots of good Youtube videos on how to do this. I also ran a disk speed test before and after, the old drive it ran about 40mb/s read and write, the new SSD runs about 480mb/s write and over 500mb/s read, big difference.

Worked perfectly in my 2011 iMac.

My second crucial SSD Ive purchased: 1st one was for the windows PC, this one for the wifes MacBook Pro. Easy to physically put in machine and installing software from internet as part of a clean install of OS worked a treat: and this is coming from a man who is apple illiterate. Boot up before was 1min 3secs, now sub 30s. All.the hanging within apps: gone!

Stessa capacità di archiviazione del vecchio Hdd che avevo sul portatile ma è cambiata totalmente la velocità del notebook, in un colpo solo ho risolto il problema della lentezza, lag, rumorosità e temperature elevate, consiglio a tutti luso di un Ssd su un vecchio portatile, facile da installare, ci ho impiegato 2 minuti per smontare il vecchio e montare questo nuovo

Prodotto conforme alle caratteristiche menzionate nella pagina, e stato acquistato per sostituire un vecchio HDD della stessa capacita in un computer portatile. Una volta clonato il contenuto (e inutile reinstallare tutto da zero =P ), il laptop e rinato: tempi di caricamento drasticamente ridotti e maggiore fluidita del sistema operativo.

Zuverlässige, schnelle SSD Festplatte. Gut zum nachrüsten oder zum Austausch alter Festplatten. Betriebssystem läuft flott und stabil.

Il lavoro di clonazione e lungo ci ho inpiegato circa 5ore per il montaggio facile e veloce che dire il portatile e rinato viaggia alla velocitadella luce fa la differenza ,avevo messo anche 8gb ram ma con hdd stato solido sembra una macchina nuova con la.differenza che ha windows 10 ed ha 4anni...... molto soddisfatto

Nice for boot and very fast

Excelente producto a precio inmejorable comparado con otras tiendas. Lo único es formatearlo al iniciar el MAC, ya que si no, no te lo reconoce y no te aparece para utilizarlo como DESTINO a la hora de hacer la backup.
