Initially, I was wary that the plastic blender ball would not mix my protein shakes as well as a wire one shaped more like a whisk. I was wrong. Regardless of how it compares to a wire ball, the plastic blade design in this bottle is a huge improvement over a bottle with no blender ball at all. I bought this one because of the price and the positive reviews, as well as the high volume capacity. This is a very large bottle. It may not fit in some cupholders; I mention this because I commute by bike so everything I own has to fit either in the bag or in a small pouch on the outside. This bottle surprisingly fits in the pouch on one bag, have not tried it on the other yet. It is not as tall as some bottles I own, but it is wide. Where my fingers can get almost all the way around my other bottles, this one they only get halfway around, so I know the circumference is about 12 total. The outside of the bottle is smooth, with no grips. Havent had it in warm weather yet to see how condensation affects my grip. I was nervous that the arm holding the cap onto the bottle would cause the cap to touch my nose when I drank from it, but it pivots backwards far enough that this is not an issue. I like that I cant lose the cap, but the entire construction does make the lid very large and includes a handle that protrudes off the back side. This may be convenient in some circumstances, though. The bottle is made of sturdy plastic that does not feel cheap, but is not terribly heavy either. I am hopeful that it will not retain smells/flavors the way my thinner water bottle did.

I purchased this shaker cup with the express purpose of blending various keto shake powders in with water or almond milk. Overall, I prefer the results from my food processor, but that leaves more to clean up than by just using this shaker cup, so from a portability standpoint, its easy to pour your powder and water and shake it up to create a quick drink. Does the mixing ball included actually serve to improve on blending powders together? The jury is still out on that question! Pros: good price, doesnt leak when you have the top screwed down tightly. Just dont do what I did, and that is after not using the shaker cup for a few weeks, I neglected to sufficiently tighten the top of the container and the screw cap, and as I was blithely walking around my living room watching a football game while NOT paying enough attention to the shake and mix operation, I quickly (but not quickly enough) realized that I was dripping my drink all over the carpet. Also good: the design - it fits well in cupholders and it is easy to carry. Also the price is great! Cons: The only con from my perspective is the difficulty I initially encountered trying to clean the shaker cup after using it, and that has to do with its height to circumference ratio. Simply put, unless I had a bottle brush with me, I was not able to clean any stuck on powder residue from the sides of the cup as I couldnt get my hand in far enough to clean it, no matter how many times I put hot water in it and shook it like a maniac. That may have more to do with the powder I was using than the design of the cup, and as noted, a bottle brush works fine to clean the interior of any stuck-on powder residue. Cons:

I use this bottle for just a regular water bottle and I love them. They do have a week point though. Over time the threads on the cap will brake and then it will no longer seal. But they make very easy to clean and useable water bottles.

Bought the wild berry shake and go bottle for when I was starting (again) my health kick. Was looking for storage in particular because I dont bring my giant protein bin to work and extra containers are easy to misplace and lose. This was a great all in one. No experience with leakages but I also only put in my liquids right before I drink. Cap seems tight. I like the hook for when Im holding too many things. Bottom has two parts to the lid so it lets me clean more if I need to. The bottom will stink if not washed right away. I really love the mixer ball. Best one Ive had to far. No clumps. But unfortunately I lost it and I dont want to purchase a whole new bottle just for the shaker ball.

Contigo Shake & Go Fit Snap Lid Shaker Bottle, 28 oz, Black The description threw me off originally. I was understanding this as the entire lid snapped into place. Upon receiving the item I discovered that the entire lid screwed on and the drinking/pouring spout snapped into place. This made me happy as Im sure you can imagine my questioning of a snap on top with canister for shaking things up with. That said, the lid screws on very securely, and the drinking/pour spout snaps into place securely as well. The inside of the container has no corners, rather just rounded edges. This definitely does help mix powders easier as they dont get stuck or collect in any corners. The little ball also helps break down thicker powders. Keeping it in the container also doesnt hinder the user from drinking. My only gripe is with the SKU sticker at the bottom of the unit. Not sure what kind of adhesive is being used, buy my gosh is it strong! That aside, this shaker is pretty good.

Three features of this bottle make it better for me than the Blender Bottle. The extra wide opening on the handle makes it easier to grab and carry. The curved bottom allow for quicker and better hand washing. And since I make shakes with whole grains, the mixer ball on the Blender Bottle kept getting clogged, so I stopped using it. But, the solid, heavy mixing ball on this one is perfect. I use a blender to actually mix the shake before pouring in the bottle, but the mixer ball is good to remix later. I bought four of these, make the shakes ahead and freeze them. I set one on the counter first thing in the morning while getting ready for work. Then toss it in my bag on the way out the door (so far, the fit is tight and no leaks). By the time I get to work and settled at my desk, the shake is perfect. These shakes have been a game changer for convenience and eating a better breakfast. Would totally recommend these bottles.

I bought this for a water bottle because the large mouth makes it easy to clean. I was pleasantly surprised that the oversized flip cap makes it easy to open and close for my arthritic hands. The large handle on the lid makes it easy to remove. I recommend this if you have hand or finger issues. I like it so much I bought another one.

Contigo has done it again with these shaker bottles. The first thing I noticed with the bottle is how solid it felt in my hand, this was a good indicator of quality for me. The cap has a very secure fit which prevents any splashing or leaking when shaking, and the blender ball inside has good weight to it which allows it to blend contents smoothly. The best part of the bottle however, is the rounded bottom. The rounded bottom makes cleaning the bottom a simple task rather than a chore and also aides in making sure you get a smooth and consistent blend. I have already recommended this bottle to a friend and would do so again.

This bottle is so sturdy a good size for anytime use. My sister who is pregnant took over the cup because she loved it so much. It’s extremely affordable for the quality of a $20 cup.
