> 3 dayThree features of this bottle make it better for me than the Blender Bottle. The extra wide opening on the handle makes it easier to grab and carry. The curved bottom allow for quicker and better hand washing. And since I make shakes with whole grains, the mixer ball on the Blender Bottle kept getting clogged, so I stopped using it. But, the solid, heavy mixing ball on this one is perfect. I use a blender to actually mix the shake before pouring in the bottle, but the mixer ball is good to remix later. I bought four of these, make the shakes ahead and freeze them. I set one on the counter first thing in the morning while getting ready for work. Then toss it in my bag on the way out the door (so far, the fit is tight and no leaks). By the time I get to work and settled at my desk, the shake is perfect. These shakes have been a game changer for convenience and eating a better breakfast. Would totally recommend these bottles.

> 3 dayPrice is great, it’s very large and can hold a lot of volume. These shakers are great and a great price as well. I bought two, one for work and the other to take on the go. They are durable and leak proof. They mix great and I like the extra large size and volume. This helps give more room for the shaker ball to mix things up. I like the contigo brand and use their coffee mugs and travel mugs, this product has their quality to it. It’s a go for me.

> 3 dayWhy didn’t anyone think of making the bottom rounded out before?!?! This combined with a ball widget means no protein/powder of any sort can hide in any corners...be cause there are none. I singed it one star because the pop top feels like if the ball hit it just right during a hard shake it might pop open. I just put my finger over it.

> 3 dayI use these almost everyday, and theyre great for holding water or a protein shake. I usually make a couple of shakes at a time so having a handful of these around is super convenient. These are cheap in prie but the quality is excellent. Theyve been tipped over, chunked into a workout bag and never spilled anything. I also own two of this brand with a screw on top. If youre prone to dropping stuff I would recommend spending the extra few bucks to get the screw top, but for under ten bucks each this is a no brained purchase. A couple of pro tips. The mixer ball is ok for remixing, but for the initial mix buy a hand blender. The twenty dollars or so you spend on that will more than make up for the smoothness in which your shakes come out. The upside is that the hand blender fits right in the bottle and results in zero spillage. The other pro tip, make sure you take the ball out before you put the blender in... Theyre obviously not insulted, so dont expect that, but they do just about everything else really well.

> 3 dayI purchased 3 of these, and while I did like them overall I did decide to purchase a different style when I needed another one. As long as I made sure the lid was closed (and on right!) than I havent had any issues with leakage. I did have a couple times where it started spewing because I thought the lid was on tight, but it wasnt. I just learned to put my hand on the spout cover as I shook. I love the size and they are easy to clean....If I forgot to rinse them out soon enough than I just put them in the dishwasher. The one major complaint I have is that the sunken spot on the lid (the round spot that pushes into the drinking spout) pushes down so hard that eventually all three of them got a large hole in that spot where it actually separated from the plastic surrounding it. This essential makes the lid garbage and since you dont get a replacement lid; the entire thing is garbage at that point! Each one lasted several months, but for the price I would like to try to find something that will last me a great deal longer.

> 3 dayIt feels a little tall- due to the way the bottom is constructed. I preferred a similar cup from a smoothie shop, that sat a little lower. Tall cups catch you arm in the car - depending on how your center console is made. They may also be difficult to tip back when in the car, and closer to empty.

Greater than one weekI bought the cup for my BCAAs, and protein shakes but I like to put my cup in my gym bag. The lid on this cup does not latch well therefore I am unable to put it in my bag or even shake it without holding it tight. Perhaps this is just an anomaly and others are better but it is my experience.

Greater than one weekThis Contigo bottle is just as good as the original Blender Bottle. I find it is helpful to add some water to the bottle before adding powdered mixes, as it helps prevent clumping on the bottom. The bottle holds 28 fl. oz., the same as the large Ball Mason jar I usually drink out of. My only small complaint is that particles get stuck around the inside of the opening. I use this to make my meal drink in the morning (DIY Soylent), and it is much quieter than using a blender, and easier than using a whisk.

14-11-2024If you leave the top open unscrewed even just a bit, your liquid is going everywhere when you shake it. Other than that small (self) issue, its perfect. Cant beat the price, takes 30 seconds to clean, and Ive dropped it countless times. If it breaks, youre probably doing it on purpose.
