> 3 dayWhen I ordered this, I could find no mention that these feed-through jumpers worked with newer horizontal sliding vinyl double-pane windows. Being very energy efficient, I was concerned our 3 year old windows would seal too tightly for this jumper to work. But I can now tell you, it worked for our windows and very well. I purchased two of these jumpers, one for HF and the other for 2M/440. The cables are one on top of the other and Ive seen no interference between the two signals. This jumper solved my problem of not wanting to drill through our stucco walls. Now I can run both radios (HF & Dual-Band) with the window tightly closed.

> 3 dayI used my window pass thru for about six months in a second floor window. The first one failed after only two weeks. The next one lasted about 5 months. If you are using this with a wire antenna, be careful to provide some strain relief if you are putting any strain on the coax cable. The foil connectors that attach to the hard plastic where the SO239 connectors are are not durable. If you are simply running the coax without any tension this may work great for you. But I was running a sloper and it failed twice. I switched to the a Diamond brand of one of these and we will see how it holds up. Comet makes good products, but this one just is not durable under stress. Every other Comet product I’ve had worked great.

Greater than one weekThis product solves the problem of getting a coax feed line into the house without drilling through the wall.I use it with my Icom receiver with a outside antenna. This has coax connectors on both ends and is thin enough to close the window no problem, it can also go under a door if you need too do that. I am just a DXer but hams can transmit with up to 100 watts with this thing. Very good solution to an old problem, for me a must have.
