Works great! Window closes completely. I use one for 2 meters and another for HF.

Installation of the window feed-thru was easy. Care was taken to protect the wire even more using additional padding. Before I connected the radio and transmitted - I wanted to check the VSWR. I connected a MFJ-266 HF/VHF/UHF antenna analyzer to the jumper which was connected to the antenna coax cable. Everything checked out - no surprises. I will order again.

I like the profile of these window jumper cables because I don’t like the larger pass-through units. I have one for each of my antennas and built a small cover for them to help protect them from the rain and snow we get where I live. They are compact, but very well built and I haven’t noticed any change in reception or transmission quality. I’d buy another if I needed to without hesitation.

Well I have 2 of these but now wish Id just went with a regular window feed panel, would have been cheaper and would have worked better. This worked great until recently where I notice my swr shooting up high on vhf/uhf. Bypassed this window feed line and went straight to the radio and the issue disappeared. Weve had several strong thunder storms over the last couple of weeks so Im guessing some moisture must have gotten into the connector on the outside side. Maybe I should have wrapped it in plastic wrap or something but I guess I figured it was built to be outside so never really thought it needed it. If they didnt cost $55 each I would have just considered it my own fault for now weatherproofing it but at this price these things should be bullet proof out of the box.

When drilling through the wall is forbidden, or if there is no way to make a sufficient hole for your coaxial cable, then a Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumper may be the problem solver that you need! Comet Window Feed-Thru Jumpers are flexible, 50 ohm, flat feedline assemblies with SO-239 UHF female connectors at each end. They are used for routing RF through a window frame without drilling holes in the wall or leaving a window/door open for the coax cable or connectors. These window-gap jumpers are almost 16 in. long and are made from copper-clad steel and PET plastic to allow for a low power transfer of RF with a nominal loss of only 0.5 dB up to 500 MHz, and they are useable up to 1300 MHz! Whether you route it through a sliding door or window, you can close the door or window securely without damaging the coax!
