> 3 dayThe product works well but it seems that the price has gone way up or the amount has decreased. It’s too expensive for the amount you get.

> 3 dayVery expensive for a small bottle that I felt did no more than what baby powder does. Disappointing.

> 3 daySeems to work OK. Needed to shed my horse. I sprinkled it on, rubbed it in; after a good shedding blade-curry comb-dandy brushing cloud of dirt-dander & hair, he actually had a little shine to him!! I liked the cool feel of this product as it is hot down here. Not much else to say. Light peppermint scent. The bottle is kind of small. I don’t think it’s good for many applications. I’m saving the rest for when summer hits here in the south. Maybe I’ll update when I use it more. The real test will be whether or not I purchase a second container! Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful! It can’t hurt to have a bottle of this in your tack trunk. Works OK as a dry bath, I have no experience witch fly season yet.

> 3 dayWhen my horse wound up with the dreaded rain rot.. I spent a lot of time looking at different products and ultimately kept coming back to this. Ill share my experience with purchasing both the powder and the paste: 1. Most of the things I read recommended the paste to treat rain rot. What they left out? Rain rot in the fall when the winter coat is coming in. The paste will NOT do the trick. 2. I followed the directions for a week and saw no results. Was becoming frustrated until the barn owner told me to take the metal curry and get the scabs off and THEN put the powder on. Knock on wood.. but a couple months later and we are still rain rot free and hair has grown back over where the scabs were! The only downfall is the price. I would use this daily (and ultimately spend more), but the cost of this makes me cringe so its reserved for after wet weather only.

> 3 dayI always have a can of Coat Defense on hand. I mostly use it in the winter after long trail rides to dry the sweat off my horses winter coat before putting his blanket on. It works fast, smells great and leaves his coat soft and shiny when it dries. As the owner of a grey (white) horse I love using it to cover up those stubborn stains that wont lift with stain removers. I treat with a stain remover and then add Coat Defense while the coast is still wet. The Coat Defense covers the stain like grooming chalk. Once the coat is dry and brushed out it seems to help lift the stain underneath. Coat Defense dries with a white residue, I love it for the white horse, not sure if I would appreciate it as much if my horse were bay. Also good in the spring for itchiness from shedding out and bugs.

> 3 dayMy horse looked like she may be getting a few spots of rain rot, and we used this on her twice a day. It smells pleasant. It is a fine powder, so it can be difficult to apply. But it worked -within a few days the spots cleared up.

> 3 dayIt needs an applicator. Too much wasted. On long coat, sweaty horse was difficult to clean after treatment.
