A little bit difficult to open but it works great

Flimsy not very sturdy. Handle is metal scratched the dash in my new Lexus SUV

I am surprised to find this worked really well. I was leaving my car in an airport parking lot for a week and the temp was going to be in the high 90s so I thought Id try to keep the car just a touch cooler if possible. It was much easier to open and fit in the windshield than I thought it would be and after using it twice, I can say Id recommend for that purpose. Im not sure its a daily use kind of product for me, but thats just because I dont care quite that much on a daily basis to fight the inevitable.

Gives good shade, but having to readjust the rear view mirror every time was a little tiresome. I was gentle with it, yet the handle snapped and made the shade unusable.

The making sure it clicks when you open it . Always took a few attempts.

First, I bought mine online but not from Amazon. That said, I paid extra for the sturdier frame. It lasted 3 days. I was very careful to open and close according to the directions. It didn’t help. This was a major disappointment and waste of money. Stick with the tried and true older methods.

Everything about it feels cheap, the hinge things got stuck on the handle and made it super hard to remove and open did not like it at all. When I finally got it open, it was hard to install and I had to push it in to place. I do not recommend
