> 24 hourInitial Review: Bought this for my husbands car. Only complaint is after use and folding it up, the reflective side is hot (really?) Other than that, he is happy with it. Easy to use and store. EDITED: A month after receiving this item and leaving my initial review I am back to take it down a couple stars. I was in husbands car yesterday when he folded this windshield shade up. I noticed that many of the spokes had come lose from their little pockets and I mentioned it. He told me that he is not as happy with this item for this reason. He feels he has to put it back together every time he used it. He also noted that the exposed spokes were scratching his dashboard. Bottom line I ordered him a different shade & this one will move along to someone else.

> 24 hourAfter several months of use, I just noticed scratches on the hood of my dash display. Please use caution when folding it back up, the metal pieces will cause damage.

> 24 hourI really like the ingenuity of this product, but the practical use of it is a little lacking. I have a 2018 Acura TLX with a large windshield at a pretty severe slant. This product does work in my car, but its a little bit of a struggle; I have to partially open it, position the bottom on the dashboard, and continue opening it while adjusting it to avoid my rear-view mirror. At full extension there are a couple of arms that I have to manually position or extend and Ive noticed some friction marks on the inside of my windshield from where the arms of the sunbrella interact with the glass. Also, because of the angle of my windshield, the handle of the sunbrella rests against one of the my touch-screen monitors, so I have a piece of paper that I keep between the screen and the handle to make sure my display doesnt get messed up.

> 24 hourThey all break. I had a bigger one for my truck and it broke in 3 days. This one Ive had for maybe a month and its braking now to wear its not worth using. The design flaw is the tension you need to keep this up and the slack they give you to work with dont align. So each arm near the top ends up poking out of the fabric. Definitely dont try to go around your mirror.

> 24 hourIt opens like an umbrella, but not smoothly, it took me a few tries before it worked. Also, it doesnt accommodate the rear view mirror so it gets in the way.
