Like many other reviewers, I found that my cat steered clear of this for the first hours of use. He figured out what it is when I placed him on it with some treats to keep him standing on it for a few seconds. Then I couldn’t get him off of it! He loves it! The cord is very sturdy and in the right place.

Love this heating pad for a feral cat I am helping out. There is a waterproof cover for the heating pad itself which is essential as he brings snow into the shelter. The heat is adjustable but does not become overly hot which would be dangerous to an animal.

My little dog Bleau is a skinny little thing that won’t gain weight. So he gets cold easily. I set up my heating pad for him and he loved it. So I thought I would buy this that is made for dogs. It is not very warm at all. It is slightly warm but the human one is better. I don’t know about chew proof because he doesn’t choose stuff like that.

It fit perfectly in the dogs chair.

My cat loves this thing! I put it underneath her little bed and I turn it on overnight while the central heating in my house is off, using the timer. Its really convenient and my cat sleeps on it every night. The one thing I dont like is that it gives off a chemically plasticky smell that bothers me a bit. Makes my cat smell like plastic too after she sleeps on it, even though its only underneath her bed so she doesnt even sleep directly on it. Its not that strong and I hope it goes away... but Im keeping it because my cat loves it so much!

My cats love this. I place a pillow case over the pad (easier to wash) and set it inside their enclosed cat box on the porch for the winter. The pad has a timer and different settings. It is a plug in pad. Great purchase.

I have a 5 pound yorkiepoo that always enjoyed being snuggled up with the heated blankets. I looked into heating pads and enjoyed the heating options and the timer on this pad. The size was nice and the cord was long enough and loved the safety feature so they can’t bite it. However, even on the hottest setting it barely even got warm. My dog snuggles right up to blankets but didn’t even care about this pad. I gave it a few more tries to see if it was just a fluke but it barely got warm. Not sure if what I got was defected but I wont recommend this product at all.

So far, so good. My cat likes it, controls seem to work well, no plasticy smell, soft cleanable cover.

My dog is still a bit unsure of this when I have it just laying out on the floor or couch. He will lay on it if its under a blanket for a period of time, he prefers more comfort while laying down.

We take care of a feral cat that was abandoned by its previous owner. We already have 3 cats, so we cant add it to our fur family. We keep the garage door open slightly so the cat comes in our garage at night and sleeps in the back seat of my wifes SUV. The garage is not heated, so this heating pad does the trick. The first night we put it on the cats spot he laid down right on it and has been sleeping there every night since. A great product for a great price.
