> 3 dayLike many other reviewers, I found that my cat steered clear of this for the first hours of use. He figured out what it is when I placed him on it with some treats to keep him standing on it for a few seconds. Then I couldn’t get him off of it! He loves it! The cord is very sturdy and in the right place.

> 3 dayWorks well. Easy to control with timer. Though my feral cat still hasn’t used it. Still skittish.

> 3 dayMy cat loves this thing! I put it underneath her little bed and I turn it on overnight while the central heating in my house is off, using the timer. Its really convenient and my cat sleeps on it every night. The one thing I dont like is that it gives off a chemically plasticky smell that bothers me a bit. Makes my cat smell like plastic too after she sleeps on it, even though its only underneath her bed so she doesnt even sleep directly on it. Its not that strong and I hope it goes away... but Im keeping it because my cat loves it so much!

> 3 dayWeve had one of those narrow but long heaters for ages, the ones you are supposed to put under a pad or inside some cloth or whatever. They never work VERY well, but its always been sufficient to keep our cat happy when it gets cold. But shes 17 now, so it was really only enough for her if we didnt have anything over it at all, which ou arent supposed to do. So we bought this and we (and more importantly, our cat) are very happy with it. The user interface of the controller is better than some of the others we looked at and is very easy and straight forward to use. I was hoping that the cloth would be a little more padded, though honestly, I suspect that shes happier with it not being more padded, as that would decrease the warmth transmission. It seems exceptionally well made, which honestly surprised me since it wasnt as expensive as some others. Seriously considering buying another so she can have another warm place to sit since we tend to keep our house fairly cold in the winter. Having used this for a bit, I would definitely buy this one again for the 2nd one. The only complaint I have, which is likely a safety feature so I can only complain so much, is that when the power goes off the heating pad is off by default when the power comes back on. I completely understand why that would be, but Im not used to having to think about that when the power goes out.

> 3 dayI was impressed by the safety features. The cord is non chewable for our cat likes to explore any and all items that enter her domain. (All seven pounds of her. So leave it on low she stands and looks at the pad then looks at me. After attempting numerous time she lightly get my attention with her paw Con:. It gets tangled also difficult to pace cord back in the pad
