Bought one for each of my dogs. Once they realized it was warm they love laying on it. While a larger dog could curl up and fit, I would not consider the large to be suitable for large dogs. Its really rather small. It also tends to fold up on itself and can be a pain to straighten out, so if you have a I must paw at it before I lay on it! dog this can turn into a problem. Overall, though, they are sure happy to have a warm place to lay!

Sadly, my nearly 20 year old kitty is in renal failure and has lost a lot of weight in the last few months. I bought this to keep at the end of the couch (his favorite spot) so that he can stay warm and comfortable. Im really happy I got this. It took him a while to get interested in it (it makes a slight crinkly sound that I think put him off initially) but hes finally taken to it. Bonus, as someone with cold toes, I also like having this mat at the end of the couch to put my feet on and warm them up! Very pleased with this purchase!

Our elderly cat loves this heating mat and I love the convenience of the timer. The temperature is perfect and doesn’t get too hot so I don’t have to worry about it scalding him. He soiled it soon after we got it but it was very easy to clean (just unzipped, threw in the washer, and wiped the pad down).

Weve had one of those narrow but long heaters for ages, the ones you are supposed to put under a pad or inside some cloth or whatever. They never work VERY well, but its always been sufficient to keep our cat happy when it gets cold. But shes 17 now, so it was really only enough for her if we didnt have anything over it at all, which ou arent supposed to do. So we bought this and we (and more importantly, our cat) are very happy with it. The user interface of the controller is better than some of the others we looked at and is very easy and straight forward to use. I was hoping that the cloth would be a little more padded, though honestly, I suspect that shes happier with it not being more padded, as that would decrease the warmth transmission. It seems exceptionally well made, which honestly surprised me since it wasnt as expensive as some others. Seriously considering buying another so she can have another warm place to sit since we tend to keep our house fairly cold in the winter. Having used this for a bit, I would definitely buy this one again for the 2nd one. The only complaint I have, which is likely a safety feature so I can only complain so much, is that when the power goes off the heating pad is off by default when the power comes back on. I completely understand why that would be, but Im not used to having to think about that when the power goes out.

My indoor/outdoor cat sleeps in the garage, and I put this in the little cat house that I built for her. She loves it! She likes to go outside and take a nap in there even when its cold outside. Ill call her to come in but find her snuggled up on her heating pad. I feel good knowing that even when given a choice to come inside during the winter that her little garage house is warm enough for her to choose it.

My male kitty refuses to come inside anymore. So I got him this for the winter. He loves it and it keeps him nice and warm! I’m pleased that it has the option to set it to a timer or keep it running at all times. It’s perfect for my litter stubborn boy who’s too cool to come inside lol.
