> 3 dayMy chicklets survived but each of these lasted less than two weeks on a thermo switch. I wouldnt recommend them. These may work splendidly for reptiles, just not for chickens.

> 3 dayThey dont seem to be putting out enough heat to keep my chicks warm in their brooder. Arrived fine and in good shape, but definitely not 150 watts.

> 3 dayGood and safe source of heat for animals that require heat 24/7. Im returning the 100 watt bulb in favour of a lower wattage. This bulb is for a small chicken coop.

Greater than one weekIts a plug and go. I plugged it in and adjusted the temperature with my flukers light that has an adjustable temperature setting control. I set a thermometer under where my leapord gecko lays at night to hunt crickets. So far so good. Its been on 24/7 for the past couple months. The ceramic heat emitter is still going strong. Just make sure you do put a thermometer below to keep an eye on the temperature. Definitely worth the price.

> 3 dayBoth of mine had to be shut down immediately when they got to 350+ degrees! I don’t know what would have happened if I had left them plugged in. These are extremely dangerous!
