Using this for a veiled chameleon. It does the job. I have it in a fixture with a rheastat. Arrived well packed and in perfect condition. I would order again.

Great for baby chicks without the light to confuse them at night, and for starting seeds. Much cheaper than heat mat and covers more. It heats very well. Adjust the distance to adjust the heat. Use a thermometer of course.

Much smaller than I anticipated. Bought it for my chicken coop. It only put out warmth a few inches from bulb and not heat. I left it plugged in for a few hours. Would be fine for reptile environment but not 8x8 chicken coop.

Its a plug and go. I plugged it in and adjusted the temperature with my flukers light that has an adjustable temperature setting control. I set a thermometer under where my leapord gecko lays at night to hunt crickets. So far so good. Its been on 24/7 for the past couple months. The ceramic heat emitter is still going strong. Just make sure you do put a thermometer below to keep an eye on the temperature. Definitely worth the price.

One of the bulbs did not work when received. It clinked inside, like a blown bulb.. it was packed well but probably still damaged by the shipper. The seller immediately replaced both bulbs, seven though I was expecting only one since one of them worked great. Now I have a spare. My heating pad and the one bulb I used until the others arrived kept my newborn puppies warm. Thank you very much..
