I used to use 100W lamps under the house in 25 deg temps to protect plumbing, but 100W lamps are getting rare with modern LEDs replacing them. These heat lamps help to protect the pipes. The only minor problem I had is being sure they are actually on since they dont put out any visible light. No real temperature control, they are either on or off as far as I can tell

I use these for my lizards for heat at night but with no light since they are asleep at night. To get the right temperature you’ll need to adjust lamp height.

It works just like you would expect it to puts out a decent amount of heat.

Needed heat for our visiting hedgehog. These lamps were crazy expensive at the pet store. Bought these, they’re great.

Im SO disappointed in these bulbs. Lasted 71 days!!! Ive had others, for the same cost, last a couple to a few years. Super bummed my tortoise probably froze overnight because I wouldnt have guessed there was a possibility that it would burn out so fast. I deserve my money back!!! Amazon doesnt seem to care about how much total GARBAGE they let sell on their site.

Quality feels superb. I mean it’s heavy, that’s why I say this. I like the heat output. When it gets going my terrarium gets degrees hotter. I’m not a good reviewer. I’m unsure if ceramic heat bulbs take 3+ minutes too warm up, or maybe these just take time to heat. All in all I’m happy. Thank you BOEESPAT

Works great, nice heat

Bought these to keep my birds warm in the upcoming winter months as they are outside. Lamps do not produce as much heat as expected.
