Greater than one weekI bought this in place of a nail clipper for my baby. It is great, easy to use and much better than trying to cut your babies nails with a nail clipper. Less daunting and something worth mentioning is that: as soon as it touches the actual finger it stops spinning. So no damage to baby and safe!!

> 3 dayI am really impressed with this product. I bought it because my 2 year old throws a fit and hates when I have to cut her nails, so I figured this might help to keep them filed down so I can increase time between clippings. If I can get her to sit still long enough, this product could even file them down enough to eliminate clipping altogether. I used this product today on my 6 month old and it effectively filed her nails down completely. It didnt nick her skin at all and she didnt pull her fingers away which tells me there was no pain, even when the file attachment was touching her skin. I love that you can choose what direction it spins in as one direction is best for one hand, and the other direction is best for the other. I found that the right spin works best for the left hand and the left spin best for the right hand. I read on a couple other reviews that they had a hard time getting the nails smooth and the edges rounded, but I didnt have that issue in the slightest. Once you get a feel for how it works, its easy to get a smooth finish. I found working from the top of the nail surface and moving in a downward motion works best. I also have had a great experience with the company. Shipping was fast and on time. There was a card in the box showing what attachment to use for each age range. There was also a promotion for a free set of replacement heads which I redeemed and is on its way. Amazon also sells the replacement heads so they will be easily accessible. I attached a photo of my 6 month olds nails...on one hand I filed the nail with the product, the other one I didnt use it on yet, just to give you an idea of the before and after. Overall I am very happy with this product, have no complaints, and very much recommend!!

> 3 dayThis worked well the first few weeks of my daughters life but we have been using the 12+ month pad since she was 1 month old. Her nails grow so fast and are very sharp if they aren’t cut. We’ve changed the battery out, this motor just isn’t very powerful. It doesn’t do a very good job trimming those stubborn little baby nails. It definitely wouldn’t work for a toddler or small child.

04-11-2024My daughters nails grow like crazy and this is so much easier to use than regular nail clippers. Its faster and Im able to do a little maintenance on them at least once or twice a week which keeps the scratches to a minimum.

> 3 dayI wish I would have bought this sooner because it’s easy and works great, but what’s frustrating for this first time mom is this DID NOT come with the pink nail attachments at all for a newborn. I don’t have time to return and rebuy stuff!!!

> 3 dayThis nail file is great! Before this I had such a hard time cutting my baby’s nails. She would fidget and I’d be scared to cut too low. Also after cutting them her nails were sharp. This file makes them smooth and not sharp! It works quick and easily and it doesn’t matter if she fidgets because the file doesn’t hurt her. It kinda just stops if she moves. The pink file is perfect for her now at 2 months. Follow the chart in the instructions.

> 3 dayMy problem is with the Never Buy Replacement Heads Again. Really? The unit works well for smoothing baby and toddler nails when first received. Once you start using it, the sandpaper wears down easily and youd need to change it. Once you go through the supply of sandpaper, the unit is useless, unless you buy replacement pads from other vendors on Amazon, which is fine IF THEY FIT. I cant find replacement heads that fit this Elosh thing. They look similar but pluck them in and the unit dead stops. And no, the included pads and replacement pads dont last anywhere near 12+ months. So if you dont want to buy a new unit/set every time you run out of sandpaper, look elsewhere.

> 3 dayGreat to use on baby. I love the fact that you just trim the nails as opposed to clipping the tiny baby nails.

> 3 dayPerfect nail file for a toddler who cant sit still. And whats funny is Ive used it on my nails about the same amount of times that Ive used it on my toddler. This has been added to my top baby item needed!

> 3 dayI LOVE this and wish I would have ordered it earlier. My son is 18 months old now and I had the hardest time cutting his nails, until now! He thinks this tool is fun and loves when I do his nails. I should also mention that a card came with the product offering free replacement heads. I didn’t see the expiration date and missed the cut off. I sent a message to customer service and they sent me the replacement heads. I’m so grateful for their kind gesture. Thank you!! I highly recommend this product and seller!
