Soft and easy to use - just be sure you thoroughly check the temperature after heating. These hold heat very well, and are soft and cuddly!

Adorable, soft, easy to use - didn’t work at all. I can see maybe using it for a future heating pad, except after a few uses the heating pad inside doesn’t really get warm or stay warm hardly at all.

This a really cute pain relief pad -- its great that it also includes instructions on how to warm it up if you dont have a microwave (wrap the gel pack in a plastic bag and submerge in hot -- not boiling -- water for 10 minutes.) But, I also like that you can use this as a cold pack and put it in the fridge or freezer to use for older kids, too. Once its secured in the unicorn sleeve, its great for kids who are anxious about things that look too medical, and the univorn is soft and cute, so perfect for my daughter to cuddle up with while Im trying to get her to leave an ice pack on her.

Boy, I wish something like this would have existed when my kids were young. This is so easy to understand how to use and takes no time at all to get it ready. Just be aware that the gel heating pad is warmed up in the microwave, but you need to wrap it in a damp towel before you put in the microwave to heat it up. Once heated, which only takes about 30 seconds, massage the gel pack to evenly distribute the heat throughout. Then open the Velcro pouch, slide in the gel pack and close it back up. The ends of the tummy wrap have Velcro strips, just put the around the babys tummy to help with the tummy issues. I imagine this would work great. I used to use warm wraps on my kids when they were colicky. Things are definitely easier now a days. I feel this would make a great shower gift for the expectant mom, or the mom with the newborn who is struggling with upset tummy problems.

My four month old just had her second surgery and struggles every time with an upset belly after anesthesia and meds. These were a great help. Just pop the pad in the microwave and put it on. The belt is super soft and the animal is adorable. Very nice quality and ive machine washed it fine. My toddler also utilizes these when he has an upset belly. Great non-pharmaceutical remedy for many of the littles ailments!

My granddaughter is colicky. I bought this in hopes that it would help soothe her. Boy did it! The warmth of this belly warmer and the secure fit calmed her in minutes! I’m so glad I bought it!

My 4 month old daughter has had two surgeries now and tends to get an upset belly from meds and anesthesia. This has been so helpful for keeping her comfortable. The band easily wraps around her and works for my 2 year old as well. The pad heats up quickly in the microwave and stays warm for a decent amount of time. The stuffed animal band keeps it from getting too hot on their bellies. Super well made and cute.

Important to Remember

Colic is a common concern. It affects 1 in 4 infants. Signs of colic in babies usually appear by two weeks of age and peak at six weeks.

A baby who cries too much despite everything you do to comfort him can make the parents nervous and angry. It is important for you to remember the following things:

  1. Colic is not your fault.
  2. Your anger and frustration are normal.
  3. Your baby is not angry with you.
  4. Your baby is all right in spite of all the crying.
