I do a lot of mixing on these headphones and they translate very well. My room is treated but its not perfect and does have some mishaps so these headphones are my go too and for the price its just perfect. They are incredibly made probably the best looking headphones and dont feel that cheap like the Sony mdrs. Worth the purchase trust me

This is by far the best headphones i have ever heard n i am comparing them to bose true sound i mean dont get me wrong theyre both amazing but the m40x has this clarity which i cant xplain u can literally hear everything very clearly. My frnds laughed at me when i told them the price but soon they all started tripping over it. Im not sure about the bass i mean it sounds good to me ive heard lot of ppl sayin it aint all that but if u love old skool music these babies r perfect. Money well spent.

Finding a quality pair of closed headphones that I like has been a daunting task. I wanted portability and isolation, as well as comfort and good sound for $100 or under. The M40x does most of these things well.

Use these for producing and mixing music - clear, balanced sound. Much better than my previous overly bass boosted headphones.

Excellent audio quality. Very good Bass. The connecting cord is coiled and thus vey convenient.

Love these headphones. The sound is crisp, and neutral. I wear the for two hour listening periods and never feel ear fatigue. Cant beat the audio quality/$. Easily put them up against some headphones costing hundreds more.

For the first week I was genuinely considering returning them as they were painful to wear for long periods of time, but a week in theyre as comfortable as any of my other pairs of headphones. They need a while to stretch to your head size.

Great audio but would be better to have products made in Japan directly
