> 3 dayApparently new computers need like 4 to 8 times as much RAM. This may have been decent 15 years ago...

> 3 dayMultitasking? Don’t even think about it, this thing struggles at unitasking. You can have a video call on it, and it will mostly work. But if you want to share something on your screen too, forget about it. Simple 5 MB files will take almost a minute to open, and any attempts to work in them will be interrupted by random screen freezes. It is a cheap laptop but you get what you pay for, and I’m not sure what this is good for.

> 3 dayNice for light use. I had to set this up for my dad and most of my frustration was with windows 11. Ive never seen a more stupid feature than having to install an app that allowed me to install any program that isnt from the Microsoft app store. Even anti-virus, Firefox, very safe programs. I even had to do an upgrade installation to fix it when settings refused to open.

> 3 dayLaptop itself works well, but when I went to register the warranty, was told it already expired. As a result, I had to call ASUS and was told I had to get an invoice from Amazon with specific information to send to them before they would reinstate the year warranty. Then I had to call Amazon to get the full invoice. I was able to do this but should not have had to deal with this hassle for a new computer.

> 3 dayI purchased this computer five months ago in response to an Amazon prime day promo. I went with this machine as an alternative to a Chromebook (my prior Chromebook was 3-4 years old, beyond the standard updates period, and worn out). I was hoping a windows-based laptop would be valuable when working on Miscrosoft Office files. Unfortunately, I regret the purchase. The laptop is incredibly slow at loading pages, internet speeds are < 10% of other computers on my wifi network (unless I restart frequently), the Microsoft edge browser is forever trying to sell me something, or offering coupons that never work, and then theres ASUS continually trying to sell me something -- extended warranties, additional cloud storage (which I dont use from them), etc. Although not a driver of my purchase decision, I thought the fingerprint reader would be a time saving feature. Unfortunately, it only recognizes my finger once out of every 2-3 attempts, and then it reverts to the PIN anyway. The battery generally lasts only a couple hours of use and if you dont plug in within a couple minutes of the first low battery notice, the machine shuts down. Perhaps it is the version of Windows 11 the machine runs. Perhaps I have a lemon. Perhaps it was unrealistic expectations for an inexpensive Windows based laptop. Regardless, I could not recommend this machine to anyone.

> 3 dayBought this based in large part for the price and the good specs for battery life (claiming 6-8 hrs) but at most I can get only 2 hrs with basic web surfing . Thats just terrible and a major inconvenience. This laptop also hangs constantly on updates, and its always updating so another major disappointment and hassle. All in all I guess you get what you pay for and so, pay more because this laptop is a major disappointment.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop for school. One of the main reasons was for the webcam, as my program was to include weekly day-long MS teams lectures. The webcam died after only two uses, and though it was still in warranty, ASUS requires you to pay for shipping to have anything repaired. They would be keeping it for an unknown amount of time--during which I would be unable to complete my required coursework. In the end, it made more sense for me to buy an external webcam, as it would be both cheaper than the shipping to have it repaired and I wouldnt lose access to my laptop (and coursework) in the meantime.

> 3 dayPara el precio del artículo cumple con la mayoría de las expectativas, pero la batería no dura mucho tiempo y además el wifi me ha deshabilitado varias veces y he tenido que reiniciar el pc.
